Griff's too fast

Hi, Griff has the "movement speed increased" symbol up on his screen (like he's casted expeditious retreat).  I think it may be caused by me crossing servers on his warpony by accident (I was really tired on night and woops).

Does anyone know how to slow him down?

Have you tried a mount and dismount? Resting?

Also moved to a slightly more appropriate place.

I have tried relogging.  I also mounted and dismounted and then I rest.  Still going too fast.  The one thing I haven't tried is doing the above on the central server...I'll try that next to see if I need to mount/dismount on the other server to fix it.

Two things:

This will clear on a reset definitely, and when you jump over to Central, it may well indicate something different for you, as effects are specific to servers. Even if you manage to "fix" it on Central, it will likely not be fixed when you port back to West.

Incidentally, this is part of the reason why it's recommended to not ride mounts across servers but rather to lead them across.

Griff tried to pull his ole warpony off the boarding plank, but she kept a runn'n on to the ship and by the time he had her under control the ship had sailed.  She's still a bit green, but I think she'll come around soon.

//I went to Central and everything seems fine there.  I rested mounted/dismounted on central, rested, relogged back on central, then ported to west, but when I got to west the speedy feet had returned.  So, sorry about that, I knew better but was tired and on over-drive.  As soon as I set sail from Hurm to Leringard I knew I just did the stupid.

I expect to restart in a day or two, but if you need fixing on West before that, I suggest you have a GM kill Griff and raise him, both of which need to be done on West.  

Or he could die the usual way.  Either one should cure the problem.
