Ok, here's the deal ... Stygian died on his horse. Now he has no horse but he is hasted like he is on his horse. He cannot rest because it says he is riding a horse. When he uses the saddle to get off of a horse it says he is not riding a horse. Hehe.

*laughs* that happened to Kylie before What we had to do was purchase the horse again, I mount the horse, then dismount to get rid of the bug. Use the orb to remember, rested, and Redeemer killed the horsey afterwards I finally saved up to buy a second horse after doing odd-end jobs for an evil wizard that I rarely associate with. If you have the gold, you can purchase another horse.

The soul of the horse deviated from its path down the thread due to too much Stygian necromancy and became a disembodied nightmare spirit.  Enraged at its fate and seeing its former master responsible for its demise, it possessed the hapless mage and cursed him to ride and ride.  To gallop endlessly without rest or reprieve as he did in life.
