It is now time to begin phase two of the housing sweep.

At this time, I am taking suggestions from the community on houses that should be reviewed due to absent, permed or inactive ownership. There's really two parts to this:[LIST=1]

If you know of a house that is owned by a character that is permed, deleted or simply unplayed, or whose player is either absent or has left the world.
If your character has a legitimate claim to a house that would fit the description of #1 above (such as having partially paid for the house originally or having been married to the owner). Simply living there or renting a room there is not necessarily a legitimate claim.
If your character owns a house but #1 applies and there is a legitimate claimant for #2 (IC reasons, please).

For either of these cases, please post below with the address (house number at a minimum) and the owner's name. If #2 applies to you, please also state your basis for claim. If #3 applies, please also briefly explain the claim. Also, for reasons that should be clear, no houses will be transferred between two characters belonging to the same player. If this is what you want, have one character sell it and the other buy it.

Note that this thread will not be used to approve or manage the transfers themselves, but rather they are intended to allow some visibility and comment, hopefully by the owners themselves. If there is no comment or if the prior owner agrees, then either the property will be released or transferred accordingly.

In order to allow for some reasonable time for these potentially inactive players to respond, this phase will last for about two weeks.

This house is owned by Balthazar Woll who used to let Ni'haer in the house to use the portal and the chests for storage. I haven't seen the player and/or the character for quite some time so I think it's prudent to post it here.

(I forgot the house number but I know it's the only house in the Lake of Glass area)
This house is owned by Marainna, a Dark Elf played by silverblades, one of the first players I've met when I was new. We talked about an isolated house and it just so happened that silverblades owned that house in the Lake of Glass. It's also been some time since I've last seen the player log on so I'm posting this house here.

118 Fort Llast - Owned by Elinmire Thel'dinarae - His last activity per lore was in 2009. There is a lot of stuff in the house that would also need to be deleted.

I would suggest that this house be placed back on the market as part of the housing sweep. I had hoped that he would be more active but I believe RL has gotten the better of him when I requested the house originally transferred to his name. It should not be sitting idle though. I do not believe that anyone else has a key to this house but I am also not completely sure.

My sister and brother-in-law. Just spoke to them on the phone and they do not plan on coming back to play. They gave their permission to put the house back on the market. I'm not sure if anyone has been squatting in it, have not been inside it myself for about 8 or 9 months.

Rufus Coldfinger's house in Krashin perhaps? He may own a 2nd house hidden awa as well. Also Rhizome's house in Corax Lake. Haven't seen either of these old timers in years and years.

This house can be put back on the market (I've missed the 1st phase, sorry), unless Gilshem Ironstone (both player name and character name) wants to claim it, in which case Grohin will sell it to him directly - that char used to have a very small share in the house and access to some storing space there.
The others who might have such a claim to the house are:
- Dwarven paladin played by PnP (the char haven't been played for ages (might have been deleted even) and PnP has not been seen very often, a few times on the forums only I think)
- unknown dwarf (can't remember either char name or player name)
- Kobal

Peanut lives here and shared the house with Q. They had a common law marraige and raised Berry Blue there toegther. Peanut would like to keep it as it is what Quantum wanted. She has a few "romantic" letters from him and together they placed furniture there. I am trying to reach him to verify this. Lance Stargazer knows this and some other players as well. If at all possible could those that know that they had/have a relationship could chime in here it would be greatly appreciated.

Xanya has not played on Layo for over 6 months and I am led to believe has gone to another server along with some others. I am not sure if he is coming back (he used to play Layo daily hence my concern).

Ygraine Ursus paid around 50% of the value of the house when purchased (three players bought it between them although at least one of the players was light in funds, so Ygraine put up the extra needed for the sale).

Ygraine uses the house regularly (every few days RL time) and would appreciate the house being left as is or transferred to Ygraine if Silverdraco can't be contacted or is not going to return.
