*This small thick book is covered in what looks to be charcoal. Closer inspection would reveal the cover to be made of a grey slate. There are flames carved in the cover, some crudely and some rather well done. The grooves are filled with a red enamel.*

The first page is just a crudely drawn picture of a prison style shiv. Its then scribbled out and next to it is drawn a large 2 handed greatsword with flames wrapped around the blade.

*There is a picture of a skunk drawn on this page with a big red X over it the text that follows is written in a smooth and flowing script*

I hate these foul, loathsome little stink beasts. Look at you sit there in your corner waiting to spray your noxious fumes about my person. I will show you little skunk! No matter how many times you smite me down with stench and teeth I will come back until I have my revenge!

*this page is written in a neat and tidy print.*

Today I met a man in the inn. He lost his lamp in a crypt. What a silly place to lose a lamp. His reward was fair however so I went and got it for him. Afterwards I went to sit by the fire. What a small and weak fire it was, contained only by a ring of stone. I was ashamed for it so I prayed that Pyrtechon would bolster its strength so the land about it could be cleansed.
