Characer Milti-Class changes
« on: February 14, 2012, 11:46:28 AM »
Ive read thru the Character Submission changes
http://forums.layonara.com/layonara-server/284451-character-submission-process-changes-september-2011-a.html

In reguards to a character of mine. I had a few questions. So I will lay out what I have and would like to know my options beyond level 20.

Character - Dot Stoven

Class(es)when she hits 20 - Rogue 7 Fighter 13 (her Rogue levels were taken early on and the remaining levels up to 20 will be Fighter)

I never applied for her to be a WM at creation, I did not expect her to gravitate towards one weapon (Bastard Sword) like she has. It's darn near her exclusive weapon (on occasion she uses war hammer for undead).

Is there a chance she can become WM at 21?
If so what will that require on my end?
She does not have a Char Dev thread.

Alternatively can she dabble back into Rogue levels at 21 and beyond? OR  must she continue taking Fighter levels?

Thanks for your time considering this matter.

The short answer is that PrC multiclassing rules didn't change.  Weaponmaster is a PrC and a "mundane" one as well, by our classification, so according to this:

LORE: Prestige Class Submission Requirements

...the requirements are minimal.

The key things that changed on that policy you linked (which also states that PrC submission requirements haven't changed) apply only to base classes (i.e. Fighter, Rogue, etc.).

Hope that helps.

That does clear up what I need to do should I attempt to go WM.

If I do not, I am free to float back and forth in Fighter and Rogue once past 21?

You are free to take the levels you want on the classes you have currently approved as long as you met the requisites for fullfilling the rules ( i know Dot is not the case , and she already fullfill them but still its the clarification to your question )

So yes. you can take levels on the classes you are approved on the way you want or decide
