Hi, guys!

Layo is my first and only online world, and I have found it to be a delightful way to spend the cold North American winter.  My only character so far is Mirrim Cade.   I am very new to all forms of gaming and RP, which is why I occasionally have 'running around like a decapitated chicken' moments in game.  

When not teaching or playing Layo, I am usually doing something with my dogs.  I have two Shelties and a Border Collie, and we compete in local obedience, agility and herding trials.  The dogs are usually romping around as my partner and I play in Layo, and those who travel with us in game have come to expect occasional dog-related interruptions.

Hey there Karen, it's great to hear from you! I myself am finding Layonara a great way to help pass by the cold winter days (here in Sweden). I've definitely enjoyed RPing with you and Jecklar, and I'm looking forward to your new characters as well. And my spaniel cross Eva would probably like to (tentatively) say hallo, too. *Bribes her with a snack*

Hello! You were the very first person who greeted me when I logged online on my first day in Layonara. I love playing with you both, and I feel the most at ease when I do. It's too bad that the timezones complicate things sometimes. In any case, I love animals almost as much as MJZ (I'm a cat-person, though), and she keeps going on about how we need to get a farm of our own, right away! I don't think I would mind, but it's not that easy, is it? *Sighs*

PS: Yeah, what's the status on the new characters? I understand the approvers have a bit of a mess on their hands with the switch and all. I can't even find the application at the moment.
