hello - new to site
« on: January 15, 2008, 08:11:06 pm »
hello all,

i am new to layonara. i have played nwn and other games for years. a friend told me about this site. i am interested to finally meet some seriously fun rpers. rp is what i do these games for and i so rarely find it. i played wow for a while and i was on a pvp site. that was fun. so much better and more challenging than a.i..

i hope to be playing a druid - dwarf - named ZAFAR. he will be an interesting and unquie dwarf. he has the personality of a sun dwarf - light hearted and enjoys others. his look and personality is different from standard dwarfs. that is why his family exiled him from the mine. his mom must have hung out with the human or elven milk man for a little too long, lol.

let me know if you have any suggestions on good dwarvian human that i can use in game.

i need to research dwarvian jokes too.

enjoy the game - look forward to roll'n with you soon.

;)

Have only been on the site a few days myself. Welcome. I doubt you will get a dwarf/anything cross or half-dwar approved, but you could easily submit a CG Golden Dwarf with such a personality. (Too "frivolous" to be accepted by the dour dwarves of most dwarven communities.)
CHeck the "New Players" links for rules on character submissions and allowed races.
I spend most of my time on Layonara in RP in Hempstead. There's no way my character could survive much in the way of battle. (Crizzan)
A druid dwarf is an interesting sort. Does he regard stony, rocky, barren areas with the same respect as an elf would reserve for a peaceful grove? (I doubt it, but that would be an interesting turn of events.)
His mom might have spent too much time with the nearby halflings as well... Ah, that is the curse of the dwarf. None of the other races can resist them. It's the beard, you know...

    Welcome.

As to jokes, I'm a little short on ideas.

yes oh yes - the dwarvian beard!

zafar like shallow caves for now. the deep ones remind him of his home and of his ostracization.

shallow caves are homes to his fav creatures: bears and dragons. by being a druid and soon a shifter he himself will become a dragon and then his family will respect him - so he hopes.

how is your character coming along?
