This one started as a simple attempt to get familiar with DOM manipulation in python and in the end turned out into a simple GNOME applet that displays server status info and notifies you when people you put on the list log on. Nothing fancy, just though I'd put it up in case anyone wants to play with it...
External link since forums don't like tarballs(btw, after installing, you might need to restart the session in order for GConf schemas to get applied properly...)
