Yeah, not too bad. I'm a bit surprised how quickly I was able to process and read that.

I could process that just as easily as normal text.

But it made me want to strangle the person typing it.

This is so old it practically has a foot of dust on it, but yeah, the brain processes only the first and last letter to make "an educated guess" based on your vocabulary. Doesn't quite work on words you haven't seen before.

It's like a windows shortcut combo. :P

The 55 in every 100 people sounds fishy..

Pretty much everyone can who does not have any conditions to prohibit it or do not know the vocabulary. 55 part is incorrect.

Also have seen this before and could read it as if it was normal text.

I think there is one other thing which needs to be in order as well and that is the length of the word. Else you will not be able to read it.

Another thing that makes it possible to read it without issue, is that one's brain also uses predictive reading I think. Certain words would logically follow on others.

 But quite interesting.

These kinds of emails are why I hate that all my courses post your email on the class website.

Didn't you know that 73% of all statistics are made up on the spot?

The 55% is actually true.

The rest 67% wouldn't even bother... :p

Some of the misspelled words create other words, which can throw some for a loop.
