Inproved Critical Doesn't Seem to Work

The last time I leveled, I took the improved critical feat with the longbow. The screenshot shows me rolling a 17 and was not a critical hit. Does the feat work with a compound bow?

Improved Critical: Longbow increases the threat range to 19-20, not to 17-20, since the base critical range of the longbow is 1 (critical hit on a 20 only).

  Seriously, Roldin it works fine, Jacchri has the feat, even though 19-20 is a small crit chance it does happen.

I was too used to using swords before Layo and didn't think about the bow only having a critical at 20. Yeah, critical range of 19-20 applied to four or five shots per turn is great. I should have took it sooner.

Equip your bow and look at its crit range now... it should say 19-20 after you took the feat.
