I was thinking that adding a way to recycle Items, so it gives a fraction of reusable cnr would help with the pawnshop limits and all.
Example, you found a couple of copper/bronze/iron sword and you go at the craft hall to use the recyclers. Each item could then give back one ingot of their ore. The rarer the item, the more costly this would mean versus selling it on the market, but at the same time, it could also help acquire the cnr someone would need. It could also possibly reduce the hassle of trying to sell things to the pawnshop and seeing it drained. Not to mention that it would also give the starting crafters a way to reduce the load of items they pawn.
I know you can always donate, but if this idea came to be, it would give an other option to use.
Now for this to make sense since we are talking of fraction of the item worth in ore. The one ingot craft-able item (daggers, arrows, shurikens for instances) should not be recyclable. The best way to do this would be to make all small (tiny?) items none recyclable, or to make the recipe require more than one tiny/small items at once.
Also, this could possibly mean an other venue for crafters, Portable recycling kit. With a limited number of used and not in sell in the NPC stores.
