I found this recipe for a lamp that can be made, though it requires a few crafts to be used in its construction.
Glass Vial
Sand
Copper strip and tin strip
Piece of cloth
Crystal dust (or any gem dust)
Wine
Add both sand and crystal dust to the glass vial.
Insert copper strip on one side, the tin strip on the other side.
Insert piece of cloth between them.
Add wine to the contents of the glass vial.
Draw out the piece of cloth slowly. As it is drawn out, the mix will provide illumination of varying luminescence and colour (depending on the crystalline used)
Illumination rings (recipe)
Bronze
Brass
Silver
Gemstone
One half band of brass
One half band of bronze
Seperate the two halves with a bit of silver on both sides, to form a complete ring.
Set fine gemstone in the bronze part of the ring.
Put it on your finger and woolah. You have a ring that glows in the dark for as long as you wear the ring.
These are actual recipes. The first is found at,
