V3 change for Ullgrid
« on: February 15, 2007, 02:00:57 pm »
I am afraid I may have just misspelled the dwarf city of Ullgrid.  However it is spelled, there are undergound docks there that display a ship but nothing else.  Several dwarfs were wondering if as part of the V3 expansion a ship's captain could be added.  Even it the trip was one way to Port Harbor or elsewhere, it would add to the realism of the undergound dock.  Frankly that is one of the best areas I have seen and would like to see it get used more.

Any way I was just wondering if there was any thought to developing this area further.

The underground dock, as far as I know, leads to the Underdark.

Not the surface.

It is was not meant to lead to the underdark (or The Deep as it is known in Layonara). It was built by Dwarves decades ago in order to help heroes find the Lost Library (which was successful by the way). That is where that whole serious of quests started and ended....and why the docks are there.

GM's may use it for other reasons though, not sure.

As to V3.. not sure what will happen but in some way that dock/waterfall/ocean connection will remain.

Oh good. Glad ot hear it since I just took a group of travellers on a tour of those docks and relayed much of that dock history.
