Filtering Calender Events by Time Slot/Level Restrictions?
    « on: August 14, 2005, 07:14:00 am »
It would be nice if we could filter the calendar events by time slot.  I have odd hours (I work the US night shift, so I'm really only available to play 6PM - 12AM GMT), and I'm also a low level character, which preclude me from just about all of the events.  It'd be easier on me if I could filter the calender to see only events that I qualify for.

On this note, it would be neat if people on one set of quests etc (One series, say) could NOT be in every series. Looking at the Calendar, for the next... few months, I see several names that seem to have signed up for every... single... event.

It depresses me that this is the reason I cannot partake in many DM led quests...

There are many of those who sign up who not actually show up to quests. And we do not really use the number of people who have signed up for the quest to determine the people that are allowed. On most quests you show up and thats that. If there are too many people, you might be asked to roll a dice to determine if you go or not, or it may be determined in some other way.

Do not let a quest with 20 sign-ups discourage you from going.

    *points up* What Harlas said...
Sign up, show up.  Don't pay any attention to how many people are signed up already.  That's the GM's job.  Unless there are specific restrictions, then consider the sign up list to be a declaration of your interest to join.
