The craft merchants have books for crafts and recipe booklets.
Is it possible for libraries to have books to be accessed by characters. Perhaps an assortment of quests need to be done in order to access certain subjects. Perhaps the interim quests for characters to gain insight into the best course of action, or even a riddle to assist them in their endeavor.
Thought for sure the great library would have books for a character to peruse to garner some forgotten wisdom.
