    Sniper arrows

I think that this would make ranging a bit more fun.  you have arrows in bundles of 10 that are really expensive (the idea is that you want to break them up into individual arrows so that you can use one at a time)and do massive damage.  give it like an extra 1d10 bludge, 1d6 piercing dmg, and 1d2 elec, dmg.

You can make arrows very close to these specs already.  Elemental enhancement rods can be applied to stacks of arrows/bolts.  One of the feather types (raven or falcon, I think) adds bludgeoning damage.  Depending on the arrowhead type, you can get another bonus against certain creature types.

The type of wood you use for the shaft determines the amount of damage.

    Feather - type
Arrowhead - double bonus against specific type (copper=nospecial bonus)
    Shaft - amount of bonus

    Ex.

Hickory Raven Copper - +1 bludgening damage
Oak Owl Iron - +1d4 Slashing +2d4 slashing vs constructs
Mahogany falcon adamantium - +1d6 piercing +2d6 piercing vs outsiders

You can also as dorgie said, add a rod to a stack of normal arrows (if you add a rod to crafted arrows it will overwrite the previous dmg)
