First, let me apologize if this has already been suggested. I worked my way back through the suggestions in this forum and did not see a similiar one.
Since temple donations are tracked, I suggest at certain levels (to be determined) that a church 'discovers' an artifact of its faith for the use of its faithful.
EXAMPLE:
When the Toran Temple donations reached $2,000,000; a portion of this funding was used by the church in an archeological dig that uncovered an artifact (say a broken shield of historical significance) that was found and put on display in the Toran temple (maybe at Fort Llast) where followers that prayed and touched it were granted with a bless spell.
Perhaps this could be used in conjunction with a formal quest.
