I hear you mate. I know a lot of my game time has gone to the wayside. I'm pretty much limited to quick fixes lately, which I don't think I can do appropriately in Layo :)

I'm still around for the community and to see what this whole mmo thingy is about.

And to think, I just graduated from High School 10 years ago and I have all these nifty memories and wacky responsibilities :)

77 - High Mach.

If I'm high Mach, just how much faster than the speed of sound am I going? :)

*Taps Chongo politely on the shoulder, motioning him to the Gnomish log rotater, or something equivalent on a nearby shelf.*

Don't worry Acacea. While I may not always agree with you, when I do see your posts it prompts me to grab a sandwich and a drink to enjoy the show (in a good way!) :)

*bites into his sandwich and sips his drink*

I guess I need to look over the character submission info. I've only ever done three. But each was a stranger concept than the first, so I had progressively more stuff to work out.

The note finally reaches Dur'Thak. Typical of his nature, he does not read the note for some time, as he continues his research on various topics.

After some time, he rests in his Library, looking over the one piece of mail he's received in ages. To any who could see him, his near constant tail lashing slows to a halt, as if he slowly turned to stone.

Silently he motions for Nix to follow. The two make their way through the house portal and slowly towards Abigail's current resting place.

As Dur'Thak approaches the guild hall, he does not enter. He remains outside, observing Abigail's remains and those who come to pay their respects. He makes no effort to hide his heritage, as his tail can be seen swaying slowy under his cloak.

The always excitable imp, Nix, seems to reflect his masters mood as he perches quietly on his shoulder, occasionally sniffling and mentioning something about "pinky". The two stay there for a long time, like some sort of fiendish guardian. Any who approach Dur to speak or offer comfort only receive a cold, hollow stare.

Dur'Thak remains watching for a very long time.

Thunder Pants, I love the name by the way, if you ever registered your serial key's at the nwn.bioware.com site then you shouldn't have to repurchase the disks for anything other than installation. If your lucky enough, mabey you can find someone in your area to loan you the disk so that you can install and use your serial keys.

I know I've lost my serial key papers time and again and have always been thankful that bioware lets me copy and paste it from the website.

Good luck mate.

go gamer has the gold version for 20$ All PC Games - Neverwinter Nights Gold

And you can find the diamond version at target/gamestop for 20 bucks also (includes both expansions).

Just do what I do, eat breakfast before you go to bed so you're good to go in the morning :)

Of course, when I wake up I have a tendency to eat Dinner . . .

Ok, after reading this I have to admit a certain "snip-snip, drop-drop" procedure seems a much better plan. That or lathering myself with bar-b-que sauce and taunting starving lions with nun-chucks made of sausages.

My significant other has made it clear that kids are on the menu. She doesn't laugh when I ask if they are blackened or broiled with my choice of vegies . . :(

Scary times ahead. Thanks for making me feel better Pseudonym :) *shudders*

Yep, just remember. With great success comes a great number of moochers :) j/k - Gratz on the hard work. I'm still pushing my own boulder up the hill for that higher education; I can only imagine your sense of relief and accomplishment.

General Discussion / Re: World of Warcraft + flying mount = awesome.
« on: March 24, 2008, 04:48:37 pm »
Fly = flap flap over a building :)

there are basically four types of mounts (excluding the different mounts themselves)

Regular ground mount: 60% land speed bonus
epic ground mount: 100% land speed bonus
Regular flying mount: 60% land and air speed bonus
Epic Flying mount: 100% land and 280% air speed bonus.

So ya, my fantasy character is zipping (slowly) around the skys, flying over buildings, and it's great :)

Remember though, Jennara's massive statue must first get beaten up very badly at regular size. Then even more badly when she enlarges by a massive portion. Then during the third match call upon some uber-destruction weapon that instantly slays the Rael statue with one hit, who performs a mid air spin and explodes when he hits the ground, possibly hidden behind some previously un-noticed hill so you don't actually see the body hit the ground.

Evil never wins because good cheats during the last fight :)

So that's how the locate object spell works!

Bird, Send this message to "uber powerful sword of doom, double xp & gold, and soul mother avoidance"

Follow bird

Profit!

I've always just rp'd the birds in the manner that they arrive - tasty. Just kidding - in all honesty Dur'Thak has never received a bird outside of a city so I've never thought any further on the matter.

Thanks for the ideas should a bird ever arrive when Dur is in his secret places :)

Wow, I have never seen the later bit of characters sprinting off to examine all your chests. I can understand if asked and approved for an OOC moment, but I would venture to say any character doing that and visible doing so ICly is likely to feel like a piece of garlic at an Italian restaurant: all chopped up :)
