Let me rephrase then: Having the algorithm come up with the wrong time is an issue I will have to endure. Another thing is folks just not caring that a quest is about to start. That is where we have to differentiate. If there is a set date /appointment I do all the preparations in advance to show up on point and not start preparing by the time the meeting is already supposed to take place. I know my boss will be pretty angry if I don't show up on a meeting on time.
Furthermore, I also provided the UTC (https://www.timeanddate.com/time/aboututc.html) starting time so it is easy to determine and look up the local time. EDT is UTC-4, EST is UTC-5. AEST is UTC+10, AEDT is UTC+11, just to give a few examples. Timezones can be tricky, especially with Daylight Savings starting happening not universally around the globe, hence providing the UTC time.

Welcome back! Your old characters should still be around and can still play them. New characters still require a submission to the forums. But let me assure you, it is not as strict as it used to be and you don't have to write a whole novel any more
Quest: No Tinks, No Problem!
Rumours spread of a lonely pixie flying around at the Stormcrest Crossroads, crying out for help. Just what could have happened to her to make such a scene ... any why or when did the portal to Dalanthar start pulsating?
Are there any brave adventurers around offering help to a pixie in distress? Who knows, it might even turn into an interesting adventure...
Time: 7 PM UTC (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Quest%3A+No+Tinks%2C+No+Problem%21&iso=20210327T20&p1=37&ah=4)
Location: Stormcrest Crossroads (between Center and Fort Vehl)
//Note that I like you guys showing up on time! Might be a cultural thing, but it shows respect. Those who show up 15+ mins late are only rewarded half of the amount in FP and any other rewards!
I regard to my previous statement, you cannot use the loom, forge or whatever to toggle the phenotype. When the new customization tool was introduced, all options were unlocked but were modified in the process. We can still toggle your phenotype IG though, Riven. Give milty or me a poke and we will jump on and can change the phenotype for you.

Regarding spellswords vorpal blade and the like, you can look up the DC in this thread:
I'm also not sure about whether the 5 before L 21 rule applies to prestige classes. The rule applies to prestige classes as well. It applies to any class

Welcome back eltalstroneves!
The server is running on version 8193.16 of the enhanced edition, so your client should run on the same version as well. With the addition of nwsync, you no longer have to keep track of the various hak files there used to be, but your client will download all the required files you need to get started.
Your old characters should be still around, too! It is best to create a test character so orth can migrate your old characters to the server. If you do have additional questions, just let us know or you can also poke us on discord. You find the link to it on the sidebar. If not, here is the direct link: https://discord.gg/YQRd5hB
Regarding the age, we have a useful time converter on our wiki: https://wiki.layonara.com/wiki/Time_Conversion
5 RL years are equal to around 21 years IG (we slowed down time at some point). So as a dwarf, not that much time has passed to your character
*Evelyn comes across one of the posted notes in Center, reads it carefully and looks somewhat aghast, a look you do not see on her every day. She sighs slightly, clenches her fists and starts writing a note, pinning it underneath the original one.*
I am not quite sure if this attempt is brave or just plain foolish, definitely it is just not wise and any wise man would agree with me on this, as these attempts have already brought loss and famine over the world years ago. And yet, history seems to repeat itself.
Have you people forgotten what happened after yet another incursion into the Black Plague’s lair? Retaliation.
I know, this is not the Black Plague’s lair, but this particular dragon has been residing in the desert for ages already and no adventurer dared to meddle with the dragon up to this point. Many did not even know about its whereabouts.
Anyway, no matter the outcome of this madness, I fear there will be retaliations, in one form or the other. You may be victorious, but you may also bring everyone else suffering. Only time will tell…

I am trying to see a motivation for Marquot to leave his position as a guard and become an adventurer. Can you please elaborate this a little more? Why would he leave the life behind that his father and mother also had? How do they feel about it? Being guards in Center, they have seen several adventurers coming and going and sometimes not coming back as well. I'd like to also see a little bit more on how he strives to become a weapon master.

Available for CDQs only at this point!!!
Rules and guidelines:
What to expect and not to expect on my quests?
How often and when do I run quests?
Even though I set some rules and boundaries, we are all here to have fun and enjoy the quests. I work hard to make the CDQs enjoyable for all participants.
1. Gilshem Ironstone - Thhakuk
2. Xiaobeibi – Martlet A Swift
I just gave it a little test and I can log in without any issues (6:10 PM UTC+1). Can you please double check if you are running the correct build of NWN:EE? Right now, we still need NWN Enhanced Edition Version 8186 which you have to set manually in the game settings within Steam.
You can actually roll back versions on steam.
To do so, right click on Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition in your steam library. Select "Properties...". A new window opens where you have to switch to the "BETAS" tab. There you can select a build of your choice. GOG is still using Build 8186 (v1.78). Not sure about the builds in between as I am using the GOG version for Layo.
Hope this helps!

*as Kira overhears some of the rumours she spreads additional information to the pawners and town criers to share*
"The group shall meet up at the Thunderpeak Crossroads. Be wary if you want to want to come along. It is a difficult ascend into the fortress and the battles we will have to fight inside won't be easy either. We do not guarantee for anyone's safety, but we will try our very best to keep everyone alive and breathing. It is a challenge, but a rewarding one."
