Sorry for being MIA all this time, for those who notice and/or care.
I needed to take some time off Layonara because I was frustrated at things and people.
The whole "Come in, you'll fit in just fine" thing worked on me for a bit but the veil has been torn not too late after.
And even amazed by the strength and support of the staff and players, of our community, it got worse.
Until I found myself spending the free-time [usually sunday nights] playing SinglePlayer modules then at dawn, logging in and in a sleep-depraved zombiesh doing quests I could get into for -some- interaction, RP and XP. [Thanks aussies, you = love.]
That was when I started getting bummed and then the staff drops a note "By the way, we're going to end this all eventually to go on our way..."
[Without the intention of opening this discussion again, or having anyone offended, I'll just say I still think it's great that Leanthar and the others are going this way, I think that this will bring them many new things, good things too, and besides some problems life throws at us here and there they'll see it was worth when they have some time to breathe and just spectate the whole thing moving on its on. Cause it will. Believe you me.] That was like the final stab, cause at the time, I wasn't doing well enough to understand where the staff and L were coming from.
Moving on, I was intimidated by all the great RP I've seen and I wore myself out trying to keep up, to be like the people I saw. Clearly I found out that I have no capacity, though I have a strong will. Things slowed down a lot, people I've played with stopped playing, others were too busy on a blind quest for the levels/riches and it all took it's toll.
I have seen people come and go, some looking for status and power within the community, some with the honest intent of having fun.
The memories of some of the best roleplay, people, community, staff and moments in this server made me want not to leave, but take some time.
So.. Even being here for a short time compared to most people, that's my drama, that's what's been up with me, and yes, like it or not I'm back to annoy the hell out of you, you and you *randomly points* and you too back there. Assuming work don't take over my life completely.

This is just a "Hello, you are missed." to all of the players that for any reason can't be with us as much as they once could.
Be it a job, school, problems or just RL in general, we still think of you.

I need to know about the custom textures in the server.
The problem I have is, some of the custom content areas [example: Dapplegreen] do not display the textures correctly, looks like my character is on a snow field...
White textures and some bugged trees too. But I can see some of the [what I think is] custom trees and whatnot. Though things like the gate and stonewalls of Crimson Eagle's display really odd, white and/or messy.
It was a marathon of google and command lines to set up the game properly and now this is the only thing keeping me from playing.
Questions:
Do these textures support 64bit systems?
Can it be a problem on my configuration, seeing the original campaigns and expansions work properly?
Should I try and install CEP, maybe it'll make a difference even though I doubt it?
Anyone run into the same problem?
I sent Chongo a PM regarding this since he created the new areas and stuff but I decided to make this public, since he might have no idea what I'm on about and I don't wanna be taking one's time too much.. There are some other Linux veterans here and I think that maybe they can help me.

PS: I apologize for the people I had deals/RP with but it's really bummer to play with the textures looking like . I would like to get this resolved before getting back in game for good.

My computer started to freeze at times and last night, in the middle of the game, it shut off and the mobo started to beep uncontrollably, I managed to trace back the problem and get it working today, but there's no telling when it will do something weird again or explode in my face. I missed Pseudo's quest and probably going to miss a friendly competition aswell, as Im trying to fix this stupid thing, sorry. So just a warning that I might dissapear or not.
PS: Sorry Nyyana, for last night, I hope you got back to Mistone safely.

Lino is level 15 and has died so, but so, but so many countless, times nad never had a Soul Mother visit.
He is starting to think this is a prank, Shadon is making Lino's visits "silent" so when the last part of his soul is taken he can go "Ha - Ha, Ha - Ha, Ha - Ha" Like the simpsons movie's kid.

Hello.
I've found a treasure map entitled "Map to a Dungeon of Alindor" or something like that. With a real strong party, we ventured in all Alindor dungeons and the map worked on none of them.
Now, the only dungeon left is the one beyond the Bloody Gate [ if I remember correctly ] as I have heard from Clarissa [ she was with us looking for the map ] but that can't be it [ can it? ]
We have tried all floors from all dungeons, including the one with seven levels [ Tower near the river ] So i'm really lost here. Suggestions, opinions, answers?

Soon after arriving in Port Hemptead and taking a look around I've found some people looking for help. One lady named Martha had a problem in the sewers and Trent, of the Guard needed some kobolds put back in their places.
It wasn't hard to find assistance, some people here seem helpful.
I've met a couple of guildmembers in my adventure to the Kobold Camp and after helping me suceed they have informed me I will be needing much coins to purchase various equipament that will improve my skills. Most likely buying from them, smart merchants...
I will NOT collect coins for personal richness, but no problem at all if these coins are to be spent enhancing my art.
They talked and talked and showed me their wares... To make a long story short, I am in debt of Four Thousand coins to one Ben, from this nameless guild they took me to. The gloves they presented me with were indeed quality merchandise, but I am afraid I'll be changing gloves quite often, so I must watch out for meaningless purchasing.
While browsing their inumerous chests I've also found a Robe that might prove useful for my adventures. Maybe some other time, however.
Must focus on getting coins to pay my debt, first of all. Perhaps in the future I can find independent crafters, these guilds seem to monopolize the market, and that's not fair to the indies.
Must focus not to let anyone else charm me with their wares, credits, wonders and then charging me more coins than my home village had in one full year.

I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong with the trap kits I find in loot.
My lvl 10 Rogue can't use them, so I'm wondering if there is something i'm missing, I tried looking it up on the forums and LORE but I couldn't find.. If anyone knows please link me or explain. Thanks.

OOC: "Many aspiring crafters are finding difficult to enter the business, for the estabilished companies control most of it." This is what my character has noticed in the last In-Game months and this boycott is just his personal choice and opinion. He doesn't have problems with any of the company members he just prefers to deal with the stray cats. Sorry if it troubles anyone.

I've made friends with a wizard named Tialle, and I've met Valmara and Shiff.. They are nice folks and we adventure around Hlint when we can.. I'm learning much, and I keep on hiding.

I started out preety good in Hlint. I've met some folks and soon I was working for a drow, opening locks for him. I trained much in the shadows while in that crypt, it was a good pratice, and the pay was good. Too bad I ended up laying dead on the floor.. But still got paid. I guess there's a downside for everything.

Now that I have more time in Layo, I thought I'd edit this and add a bit more of info in case anyone is wondering. I'll leave the original post in the bottom.
I live in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.
This place is beautiful, the people are warm and welcoming and if you don't know Brazil, I'd advice you to try it once. Just don't go get your kidney stolen!
I have been playing RPG and drums most of my years. Began RP with 14 [ Drums 11 ], playing some D&D, Vampire, GURPS and Tagmar [ Brazilian RPG ] got to other stuff soon but never stopped being an D&D addict.
I love my band, we started as death metal, then began adding Drum n' Bass elements, regional instruments [ such as the Berimbau, from Capoeira ] and now we turned into something completely progressive and experimental.
I've been a hardcore gamer for as long as I have a computer, and since Full Throttle I knew I was born to do this for a living, but it turned out different and now I work in the local hospital's morgue and in a big events house that takes most of my time, unfortunately...
I live in a eight rooms house with my dog and cats, no other humans. Hate 'em.
I have long pitch black hair which goes with most of my dark clothing and eyes. Very pale skin.
Big fan of tattoos and far from done with them. Only 13 of them ATM. I like piercings too but I only have one. Not a goth. Not emo.
As far as music goes I'm a bit strange. My taste ranges from death/gore/trash metal to Mamas and the Papas... No further comments on this.
Finally, I don't consume alcohol, I pratice Krav Maga for about six or seven years and treat my body as best as I can [ If you disregard the heavy smoking habit ]. I hope that gives a view of who I am.
