Forum Discussion / Access denied
« on: September 12, 2013, 03:26:29 am »
My access to a lot of pages has been denied, including my own character submission. I did notice it has been relocated to Recent Approvals, so I'm assuming it has been approved :)

Character Development Quests (CDQ's) / CDQ Request - Vamili
« on: September 01, 2012, 02:24:11 am »
I'm not entirely sure how to request a CDQ. I guess my request is in my original message. If this is not the right location or this post does not contain the desired contents, could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Hi!

I will be glad to do the CDs for you but you will have to be approved for it first. Submit a request and get approval for it. Once that is done and ticked off we'll take the next step. Thanks!

Tanman,

I'd like for my new character to become a Pale Master. I will start a CDT today too, to document his progress in that direction. Would you do me the honor of running the CDQ?

Also, can you guide me through the process of the CDQ's, as this will be my first CDQ :)

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Development Journals and Discussion / Vamili - Realizing Dreams
« on: August 30, 2012, 05:07:27 pm »

Vamili's eyes jerked open. He looked around, wondering where he was. It took a few moment's before he realized it was the Bull's Eye Inn. He had traveled to Mistone, all the way to Center.
As he sat upright in his bed, the contents of his dream slowly returned to him. There had been a woman. A sun elf. Seldera. His long dead wife had come to pay him another visit in his sleep. It had been years since he had dreamed about her, but when he woke up, he missed her as much as he did on the day she died.
Vamili closed his eyes again and wildly shook his head, trying to shake the memories out. Of course, he failed at that. He sighed, got up and went to the small desk in his room. He started reading a scroll he had kept hidden in a drawer. It was a magical scroll. A necromantic scroll. Ghoul Touch.
After studying it and trying to remember it for several hours, he stared at his hands. Vamili did not like his hands much. They were gaunt, with skimpy fingers.
It might not be so bad to cast this spell. At least it's practice. I need practice. Necromantic practice.

LORE Bugs / Broken Link
« on: August 28, 2012, 01:18:39 pm »
On the [LORE]Death[/LORE] page, there is a broken link to [LORE]Soul Mother's Defense[/LORE]. It lacks the 's.

LORE Bugs / Domain Links
« on: August 27, 2012, 04:01:45 pm »
On the [LORE]Deity Domains[/LORE] page, there is a table with all deities and their domains. The links of those domains don't work, except for the Air domain.

LORE Bugs / Strength Domain

At [LORE]Strength Domain, Divine Strength[/LORE], it says that the increased strength

has a duration of 5 turns + the cleric's Charisma modifier.

Though I did not test anything, I think that should be 5 rounds + the cleric's Charisma modifier.

Ask A Gamemaster / Portrait in Lore

I've recently created a new character, and I noticed that it's portrait isn't in the Lore. Is there a way for me to accomplish that?

Ask A Gamemaster / IC terms for classes
« on: July 15, 2012, 07:03:16 am »
For a wizard or a champion of a certain deity, it's easy. Those terms are known in-game. A character can call himself a wizard and everyone will know what he means.
But what about barbarians, rogues, dwarven defenders, pale masters, sacred fists, shadowdancers, spellswords and weapon masters? Are those terms known to characters?

Before you lies a huge leather bound tome, though most of it's pages are still empty. The cover just reads: "Thora Thunderthump"
The handwriting is a large and rugged one, with no more than six or seven words on each line. Only the first line is written in the common tongue.

To whoever finds this journal: please make sure it returns to the Thunderthump dwarves.

The rest of it is in Dwarven.

I am well on my way to make a name for my kin and myself. There are several people that are likely to remember the Thunderthump name already. One of them is a captain in Port Hempstead. The man asked me to help him out with a problem concerning kobolds and some magical device. Of course, I agreed to lend him my aid, though I had trouble locating the kobolds. While looking for them, I met some elfish guide by the name of SehKey. Though I was unsure of his intentions, I did allow him to escort me to the kobold grounds. I initially intended to continue on my own, but the guide preferred to stay close and watch me fight. I hoped it was just because he wanted to witness a true battle. Though he probably did, he also helped me out somewhat while the battle was at it's peak. He used a bow. A coward's weapon of course, but I must admit he did use it with skill. So, my first impression of this man is a good one, though I will remain at guard near the elf. You never know what ties he might have with his dark cousins.

General Discussion / No download link
« on: June 30, 2012, 06:12:41 am »
Hi,

I'm new here, and after reading the rules and some of the lore, I really felt like joining. Alas, the downloads in the download section don't seem to work for me. There appears to be no link to the files. I can hover them and get the notification that I can left click or right click, but there's nothing to actually click :\\

Can anyone let me know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
