Though I do try to stay out of the OOC comments for the sake of good RP, when I leave the game I do have a tendency to say goodbye once via an OOC instead of sending the five or six individual tells depending upon which of my friends happen to be playing at that moment. When it is just Lushen and I, then I do it via TELL since it is just one entry. (yes, we are a group of RL friends who play together ... six of us all together) I hope you wouldn't consider this 'getting old to hear'  I will agree though that whether in party mode or not ... //12k to level ... should be a tell and left away from OOC all together. I think there can be a few circumstances where OOC can be tolerated ... asking a question of clarification that is not directed towards a particular person thus being asked of the group to me is okay. Why ask the same question over and over in various tells especially if it might be pertinent. OOCs down to Zero ... not likely ... but minimizing the OOCs to essentials is very do-able. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but having played pnp type games for many years, OOC questions happen in any type of RPing world.

I hope you feel better as well but do not worry too much about the surgery. Though i'm not sure the extent of your injury, my brother back in his college days had the same problem from playing soccer at Delta State University. He had the surgery and recovered fine finishing his junior and senior year on the soccer field, continuing with his ROTC, and still serves as an officer in the Air Force today (16 years later). Though the intent of my story is to tell you all will be well either way .... I have to add that I come from a family who has served in the Navy for three generations. I even had the privilege of serving on the USS Fulton before it decomissioned in '91 which was the ship my grandfather served on. My brother joining the Air Force ...lets just say he gets a big ear full everytime he can bring his family home for the holidays

That is exactly what I died from ... thanks, that helps me understand whats going on I did die from the drowning attack. I had no idea that the drown attack was an area effect.

Hey Jester, I'm dating myself too because I know that song well It was a part of the old 80s Dr Demento's Delights. They played all the Dr Demento wacky toons on sunday over a two hour time slot. Great stuff. I have no idea who actually sings the song though.

Definitely read up; there is tons of good onfo in the handbook. If I remember correctly, going from Druid to shifter doesn't even require a CDQ so it's pretty much like being a multiclass, you just have to include it in your Bio or recreate your bio for submission in the Character Creation forum for approval involving the new class. A DM could explain that better i'm sure.

Well CHA is important for the paladin abilities that go off of a stat. Not too mention the turning aspect that a paladin receives against undead. It doesn't mean you can't RP a paladin well ... it just means that other PCs who developed their PCs around the Paladin class will do things a bit better than you.

Vellyn made his way into the Inn for a bit of relaxation. A strange occurance had happened the day before where his own summoned water elemental turned on him and killed him in an instant. He spent the day praying to Aeridin for clarity on the issue to no avail. It was in the Inn that he saw the burnt wall and wondered what had happened. THe only harsh thing he had noticed on the wall from previous looks upon it were from his companion and friend, Lushen. He hoped all was okay and left to seek out his friend.

I know a ranger in game who does tons of tree chopping (but he does not 'kill' the tree ). He has a 10 stregnth also ... so as said .... it'll take longer to chop a limb off but you can do it.

I am writing this note to Tcho on a parchment made from a tree limb where the tree as not killed. How do I know this? Because I know the maker of the paper and she values life. No one here has told you, Tcho, to stop gathering wood so that you may craft your fine wares. You have only been asked and then warned to stop killing the tree. Take one branch, maybe two, if the tree looks strong enough, but to kill nature will bring a vengeance from Katia. As a priest of Aeridin, I value life and would never come to harm you over this matter. But I do pray for your soul to Aeridin that you might return to the cycle of life upon your death ... which is sure to come if you continue to be an enemy to those who protect the forests.
This is my plea to you tree killer ... take a few branches from the forest, but stop killing the tree out right. Your life has more meaning than to die over a tree or else the Drgon would not have called you here in the first place.
