have to give kudos to Stephen there... pretty much captured what I wanted to say...
I learned how to RP on my first PW server exactly how you described it.
Great Post.
- I try to play the 20 question game when I create a character... his fears? likes? dislikes? obsessions etc?
In essence L and the team are helping everyone from the start by requiring a character bio.
I don't believe it's in place to test your ability as a role player... but in turn to make you THINK more of your character before clicking 'Done' ;P

Alright I fixed it all up. I have the two in there separated by commas. I had missed a character while entering my public cd key awhile back. Thanks for the help yet again.

hmm thats odd because the first cd key there is my orginal one which I lost disks too thanks to the kids. The second one is the nwn diamond package I purchased to play. Its the right key... Guess Ill recheck it and post back here when done...
Think it has anything to do with just a comma between the two? Should they be spaced at all? Or maybe I should just erase my old one.

thanks for such a quick response Dorg. I was looking at all the screenshots and the video. They look great. However I'm not sure if they have been released publically yet?
If they havent I'm sure an arrangement could be bartered between Leanthar and DLA? (I think are the creators) to 'purchase rights to the mod'. I would be willing to cover the cost of this if reasonable.

I really hate to discuss things like this... because it is JUST a game as Honora has stated. I just want to say a few quick things reference his post: - Is there favoritism? Certainly. It's everywhere, not just Layonara. Maybe if he played by the rules etc.. eventually he would have been favored too. For the most part, the favored ones have put in the work to deserve it. -There are certain Gm/s ... well one inparticular that does belittle others with his posts/general attitude towards players. Does this bother me? Not at all. Does he get the job done? For free might I add??? YES! Will anyone that has to do with a virtual video game community really have this kind of effect on a mature person? I like to hope not.... but by whitewolf's or whatever name's well written yet immature post he seems intelligent enough to know better...>oops< Well he should have anyway. -One final quick thing that he was 300% right about. EdtheKet is by far one of the greatest assets to Layonara. His demeanor and attitude towards others is always pleasant and never overly authoratative. p.s. Thanks for the job you guys do. All of you.. even the ones that show favoritism.. and the ones that are not the 'nicest' ... After all... We Are All HUMAN. Lawrence

@Ioskeha. I know say 'PC' you are referring to is me. Because I mentioned it. I did not say that I venture there and do it often for XP. I can count 2 times that I have been around that swamp area. Each time I was passing through to explore. Slipping around the sides. I tried to gather a party together to go there and you said it was too hard. And then you know what I said so I wont type it all out. I didnt go there with the intent of cheating the AI and killing the whole field. I was slipping around the corner of the map as every1 does when they dont want to spawn any encounter. Trying to be sneaky in a RP sense. Doing this there are some points that you can not slip by because the trolls wander to the edges of the map. If there is a group of four. and they are randomly walking back and forth towards the edge. I see no problem in "sneakingly" standing in one spot until say 1 or 2 run over to me so I can clear a path to continue the 'sneaking' through the area. Like Dorganath said... Common sense goes a long way. Personally dont need you to come on the forums for a question about me that could be easily answered. I appreciate that you did not mention my said PC name. But if you asked me a bit more information before hand this post would never have been required. Once again in a RP sense if I was sneaking around the corners of the map I see no problem common sense wise with picking 1 or two off. IF I were to take out the whole map for the purpose of XP then there is a problem. I simply said to you that I have 'lured' one or two out of a group and they were no problem.. hence there were 5 of us that I wanted to go.. so being a group of 4 or 5 trolls shouldnt have been a problem being you were all my level. The trolls are not that much off for a lvl 6 7 and 8 with a good group. Have a good night and enjoy your Layo time

Hunt Day, Earth Wakes 16, 1409
After being back for roughly six to seven months... I have come to a few conclusions. I have started on my mastery of becoming a weaponsmith; more difficult than I had thought. Then again who doesn't enjoy a challenge? I have been spending alot of time in the Crypts trying to keep the undead population suppressed.. I feel they are a greater threat to Hlint than anyone would like to admit.
After emerging from the Crypts one night.. I fell terribly ill. Could not even feel my limbs or draw the energy to even speak. The last that I remember was being aided to consciousness in the middle of the road by a certain dwarf, Grohin Silveraxe. He was accompanied by a few other dwarfs... all boasting banners of Vorax. Never has any shown as much concern for me as they did. Are all followers of Vorax like this? Perhaps I will visit the temple and pay my respects with a donation.
Why am I still so uneasy around others? I have passed up many adventures and quests simply because my comfort level is never where I want it to be....

Yet another reason why Layonara is the best server/s I have ever played on. When I first came here it was a close tie between Arelith IMO only of course. However... this server/s is now leaps and bounds beyond. Great work all!

Gather Day, Dark Cold 11, 1408
Ventured from Grey Peaks yet again this day. Have been feeling empty inside lately. I wonder if it has anything to do with ignoring the Dragon's Call and returning right from where I was summoned.... No matter. As of late the sky has been dark; something had to have happened and that is why I am here once again. Perhaps I have had a change of heart...? Or am I truly here for my own personal advancement... that I am undecided on. For now however, I will begin to master a trade. Perhaps a weaponsmith to earn a living? I have decided to never return to the Grey Peaks... the only memory I want from there is of tearing through the ogre population.
I met a woman by the name of Tegan. She is always hooded and a little withdrawn;which I can easily relate to. She has informed me, Ozlo, the Dragon responsible for calling me has perished.... Blood has perished... and now one by the name of Broegar has taken over Prantz in Blood's place. I know nothing of this individual.... nor of his intentions. In the meantime, for now, these matters are of no concern to me. I need to start saving my true for equipment and a license for a trade.
...should I follow in my fathers footsteps as a weaponsmith? I think I will... I will also continue his tradition and burn a new scar into my skin for each quality weapon made. Old habits die hard I suppose...
