tanman you mustn't forget the fact she had everyone in the vicinity diving for the dirt or the nearest body of water in my case... though i fell short... in the end i casted endure elements just to keep everyone safe from her insanity... i swear... she may be insane... but i'll be a orc's uncle if she isn't entertaining, and i also agree on the kudos to Gvhe, my gray elf met her and it was rather interesting... to say the least

meh... i never liked the spell... i had a level 20 dwarven defender (multi-classed from a fighter) use a potion of it and actually fought worse while the spell was in effect

now now... restrictions are just there to give you something to go against... i personally play a Chaotic Good halfling ranger and things often seem to dissappear from packs (rp wise of course) that being just because Halflings are often extremely curious and light fingered...

so not only can you take your alignment but you can take your very character into it. i play a halfling that is fun to be around you can ask many people that have met him... he's tons of fun with his insults to the enemies and just being a halfling. But my Gray Elf is basically a jerk to many people and he's Lawful Neutral if i remember right. Alignment only judges your actions, Stealing, Lying, Random Killing, etc. that's what i love... you take your entire character into the picture not just, "oh well i'm Lawful good i must protect everyone!" you can have a Lawful Good character with predjudice verse dwarves or somethin' and refuses to help them.

indeed my highest is level 6 and i usually have to walk to either Llast or Hlint to sell drops... because Hempstead and Vehl are usually out of cash... not really a problem until ALL the pawnshops are out of cash... just more of... out of the way to walk for some coin

kudos to the gm mission team i went on into Silkwood for that witch lady(which was quite a bit over half the server at that time so i can't remember their names) only names i remember are Gothim, Jacrum, Kuguar, Luna, Kalim (i think that's how it's spelled) and that's really all i can remember off the top of my head... but my internet died... so i had to leave un-expectedly *pouts*

that and you're darn right that's what a halfling would say Taric... or somethin' along those lines... still... nothing better than "You're ugly and you smell like a rotting skunk! Hee Hee!"

Crafting Halls in Vehl are in the main part of town east of the bank and south of the armor, weapon, and clothing shops. >_>;  i honestly prefer the crafting halls in Vehl ... no one is there... it's nice and quiet...

What really gets under my skin is people that let's say... gets killed by an IC evil alignment player then switches to another of their characters of equal or higher level to confront the evil player... that really annoys me... not only did the instance not happen to the character switched to... unless RP is involved that character has no business confronting the evil character... i.e.  Killed character = Little brother  Character switched to = Big Brother  even then... still no business confronting the evil one. Thus they take it OOCly and go for the vengeance path. which leads to the dark side man! (doh... +2 points to my geek skill...)

XBlade -  *He carefully and gracefully enters the hole* (FAIL DEX CHECK) AHHHHHHHHHHH! *Rolls down the hole and lands with a thud*

ya that was just great i laughed in me desk chair... i think i might add that as my sig :D

another note with a description of a halfling is pinned to the message by a badger reading, "oi saw your message before heading into the farmlands... got a bit stuck, but as soon as i dig my way out of these darned farm lands i'd be glad to help ye... luckily i saw this badger that i convinced to help me send this message"

// yaa... i'm kinda stuck in the Southern Hlint Farmlands at the moment... but i'm a level 1 Ranger halfing... i swear i've bashed the exit door for a good 30 min. :(
but soon as i get out i'd be glad to go adventuring with ya... darn this door! *kicks the door in frustration*
*edit* //eh i got out... not in the most... heroic fashion i imagine... 3 cows killed me... heh...

in response to Darkstorme's evidence... noooooo not japan T_T *snicker* only time will tell... time will tell if we wise up and try to stop or at least reduce the rate of toxins emitted into our atmosphere. and only time will tell if the ice actually does melt... i mean worse comes to worse we end up with a giant water ball and are forced to live on giant platforms, which would be possible there's a dude off the coast of Mexico i think it is that has an island built of water bottles and he grows food on it :o

Quote from: Gulnyr

It is not true of the ice on Greenland or Antarctica.  There is land under the ice in both places, so the ice is not in the ocean already.  When the ice there melts, it will leave the land and enter the ocean, like extra ice cubes leaving your hand and entering the glass.
true however even still with the amount of land surface on the face of the planet not to mention that all oceans are connected so still the most i see effects i see is a mild loss of land on all continents. however this is just speculation... for all we know a flood could happen killing quite a few people in the process... however only time will tell *shrugs*

do we have scientific evidence that the green house effect is bad? more than likely no acid rain is an effect yes... but the over all green house effect has no backing behind good or bad.

as for the ice caps melting, the feared "flood" they will cause is unproven and can easily be disproved by ice in a glass of water. when all the ice melts does the glass overflow? 'course not there is a certain equivalence to such things. if you put nothing extra into the ocean or glass of water in this case nothing will happen. The ice is already in the ocean... the most i see happening is waves gaining a bit of power for a time and the over all land mass shrinking only a bit if at all

those are my two cents to add along with Hawklen's

to be honest i've used the shoot and hide in the original campaign... i had a Rogue/Shadow Dancer  and i popped arrows from out of the shadows where i kept using the "hide in plain sight" feat and i set a few minor spike traps around where i was hiding to stop any advancing guards.... that and i trapped the entire hallway of one of the estates of the Art Theft quests in the first Act if you will... was pretty funny seeing 30 guards rushing out and getting slaughtered by various traps
