I am looking for bctnwn, he had a character named Gre'Mantis. I would like to reach him if I could. I left him a message at Bioware but he has not replied as of yet. If anybody has his email address or a way to reach him please send that information to me in a PM. Basically the team and I discussed his banning of a while ago and we may be possibily removing that banning--after I speak to him--and assuming he wants to come back of course. He handled himself very well through this and with a lot of maturity and showed respect and understanding. The team and I discussed this some last night and I would like to speak to him and then go from there. It has already been hijacked by somebody that was either banned or persuaded to leave Layonara...and I think I know who it is as well (sadly). Please post in that thread your thoughts on Layonara so that we don't get hijacked like that in the public. The more that post the better off we will be in the long run. It should only take 5 minutes or so out of your day. Thank you.

From the posted rule
"Griefing is the act of intentionally causing another player emotional harm by a verbal assault. It is also the act of intentionally causing players to not be able to have fun in the world (following them and being a nuisance, blocking doorways, pick pocketing/stealing, kill stealing when asked not to, camping when asked to leave an area, being rude and obnoxious etc.) Doing so will get you a warning and a three day ban on the first occurrence. The second occurrence will get you a seven-day ban and the third will get you banned from the server. Another form of griefing is the act of attacking NPC's or stealing from them. This is not tolerated. It will get you a three-day ban the first time, a seven-day ban the second time and then a perma ban on the third. Do NOT attack or steal from NPC's."
The update on the rule:
You are no longer allowed to send "in character tells" to other players. If it is "in character" then say it out loud (or whisper it to the player) and emote the action out loud so that others know what is happening around them. It is not "in character" if you are sending tells to a player--period; rather it is a form of harrasement hiding behind the guise of roleplaying "in character". This update is due to abuse over time and a rare few people just not understanding that it is not roleplaying but rather it is a form of harrasement and very poor RP and I will not tolerate it any longer.

Hi folks, We have updated the Layonara Music File. You may have noticed that some of the music (Layonara specific music) was being cut off in the world when it was playing. That problem has been fixed and things sound great. Please download this file and overwrite all of the music (from this file) in your nwn\\music directory. Thanks to Talan for fixing this problem!  LayoV2Music.rar (88.9 MBytes - 6/2/2005) - This file contains the music for Layonara and it is optional. If you do not download it then in some areas you will not hear music (ie. If the music for that area is contained in this optional download). Download this file and unrar it in your nwn\\music directory. That is all there is to it.

We tried to get people to purchase some advertisement space for this new series of guides but had no takers...hopefully it goes better next time. As many of you know the west server was down for a few hours today due to a hardware problem, that has since been resolved and everything is back to normal now.
I would like to take a moment to thank Orth for moving the server and server configurations around to alternate servers during this time period. He did a great job and this type of thing shows you just how dedicated he is to the community. Not to mention just how good he is at his job.

Please be aware that your bank chests and housing chests that were on the WEST server are not accesable at this time. The chests that were stored on the "central" server will be available on the temporary west server that is running. So, to try and clarify this: Any storage that was in your bank or your house on the west server will NOT be available on the temporary west server. Any bank chest that had items on the "central server" will be available for this temporary duration on the west server. Confusing enough for you? This is temporary and we hope to get the west server back online soon but no guarantees. The central and east servers have been up for over 100 hours straight! West has been up for 36 hours.

I have moved the plot quest that was scheduled for next Sunday out two weeks. I have added a new plot quest for Sunday June 5th.
There will be at least three plot related quests run by a few GM's over the next two weeks.

The very beginning of that quest was run last night. I needed to do that so that the players realized that something was still missing, at least according to Ozlo's request.
I am not sure if the GM Team/Players can team up enough this week in order to get things worked out in time for the quest or not. If not I will move the quest out another week or two. If so then it will run on time.
Unity of the same goal for the dragons....

There are a lot of things happening on the team, quite a bit of it in the background. These individuals have toed the line and done a great job. That is not to mean that everybody else on the team are not pulling their weight, far from it, only that these individuals are doing a stand up job.

I would like to take a moment to apoligize to the people that were logged in waiting for Aryn's quest to begin last night. I found out a little while ago that he did not show up, even though he posted on the forums that it would be run. I am sorry this happened and the team and I will try to improve upon this lack of performance. Everybody here has RL things that happen, and that includes the players. It seems this quest has had two, if not three, unfortunate things happen to it over the past few weeks and the team and I apoligize.
We will work on improving this lack of performance.
