Server Rules / Wizard Teleportation and Druid Tree System
« on: May 10, 2005, 06:01:00 am »
Do not use this sytem for harvesting and then jumping to some location to then craft (no matter the distance to the craft hall).  This system is in place for RP purposes and it is not to be used in any way-shape-or-form to help any character harvest and/or craft.  Doing this, will at the very least, get you a seven day ban and it is quite likely it will be permanent ban.  If it is abused the system may also be removed from the game.
It is also not to be used to escape from battle(s) and other things such as that, again it is for RP purposes and to give a little spice to these two classes.

Just a quick heads up.  One was a mistake on my part and the other is something that Ed and I spoke about and came to an agreement on.  Here they are.
Deliar and Rofirein are now both unfriendly towards each other.
Dorand and Vorax are now both friendly towards each other.

Layonara Server / A PM from Equinox/jimmydcricket
« on: May 08, 2005, 02:35:00 pm »
Alright folks, I would like your thoughts and input please.  This is also a heads up.
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Leanthar, too bad this is during peak time so you can't censor it. *chuckles* You always were stupid.   Remember me? I told you, that you would be the one to burry Layo. Heck man, I seen your serv stats, half your GM/DM Team has left you. Ozy has always been my bud, and you and I both know that he can be a loose cannon. You really think you can afford to lose someone not only like me, but him? Give me a break ya loser!   Yeah that's right L, I called you a loser, you Ban me, and you can't keep me off 2 weeks later. I'll let you in on a little secret bro. Both me and Ozy coded the new bioware infinity engine for BG2, and helped debug NWN for bioware. That and I'm also one of the "Big Kahunas" on the net. You know what I expect from you before I burry your ass and make you lose 30+ players?   I want you to:   a) Re-instate Equinox2032 on the forums  b) Issue a PUBLIC apology to him   You know why? Because if you don't, You can ban this ip all you want, Ask Ozy how good SirNarf is, I can bounce through AOL bro and you'd never track or ban me, and keep reaping on you. You don't do that, and I will burry Layo. Good luck trying to stop me.   Oh and that crap about PoB, Shiva talked to him twice in his entire time here. You're so full of it. I want a public apology, you give me that, you let me back on (Or yeah, I can bounce my cd key and you'd never know it, ask ozy) and all debts are forgiven. Otherwise, say goodbye to layo L. I told you straight out before you erased it: You want to go tic-for-tac with me L, I can do that. I wasn't lying bro.   This is your ultimatum, meet my terms, or I'll burry you and see your dream fade like a fart in a windstorm.   Feel free to trace the e-mail on this and send me a reply. I'm game bro, not like you could ever trace me fully if you wanted. And don't even think of sending your dogs on me. I got 10 years *nix xp on your bum. Good luck.   Meet my terms and this can all disappear. You picked the wrong guy to mess with. Oh by the way, you ever heard of http://www.normorepasting.com ? Yeah, I got fraps vid's uploaded there. Good luck. Give me what I ask and it can all blow away.   Oh, and L, I want a posting of the e-mail sending you give me on the forums, and yea, Ask orth what Equinox's avatar was. He'll tell you straight out: The FreeBSD Devil. You ask him what that is, he'll tell you. FreeBSD is the only TRUE UNIX variant left.   I never once screwed you Leanthar, yet you screwed me. This is my pay back, I'll suck everything away from you and burry your dream. Or you can simply send me an e-mail (here I'll make it simple: SirNarf42@hotmail.com) post that, and I'll confirm, and you can delete this post all you want.   -Equinox2032-  -SirNarf-  -Dashiva Elendil-  -Toman Adenith-

What is a World Leader?

World Leaders are players that support and protect the community as well as enhance and define RP in the world. They are some of the ones that the teams rely on in order to keep this a great place to game for families and friends as well as the community as a whole. These players will have shown that they are first-rate role-players as well as the fact that they support the community and world. Your actions in game and out of game reflect on Layonara and as such you will be held to a high standard. If these standards are violated then the World Leader status of the character and the player will be revoked. A World Leader is not just an in-game title, indeed the title in game will most assuredly be something else, and it is a title that references the player as a whole but gives benefits to the character that earned that title.

World Leader is a character that has earned a title in game by successfully completing a World Leader Development Quest (WLDQ). A WLDQ is a quest that is run by an approved member of the GM Team in order for a character to be able to earn a position of honor, authority and/or a title, within the game. All characters must be approved for this quest and they must pass a WLDQ in order to become a World Leader in game. World Leader characters must have made a difference in the world - combat does not count.

World Leader Information:
 • World Leader players may have more than one character that is a World Leader; there is no max except for the maximum allowed characters in the world. That means that all of your characters could be World Leaders at some point though this would take a long time - but it would be allowed.
 • A player can request to have a WLDQ run in order to become a World Leader at any time after reaching level 20.
 • The WLDQ will last a max of 25 hours.
 • Only one successful WLDQ will be run over the duration of a characters life time. After the WLDQ is run and is successfully completed all further specific quests for the given character will fall under the CDQ line of quests even for World Leaders and the same rules will apply.
 • Players will invite those that they wish to be involved in the WLDQ but there must be at least three players in a WLDQ; this is not the responsibility of the GM team.
 • If the WLDQ is not passed or not approved the player may request again, see below for the rules of the request.
 • If a player cancels two times in a row or three combined times during a WLDQ the quest is off and the player must get approved for a WLDQ again, starting the entire cycle over again.
 • World Leader characters will be able to hand out limited XP via items to characters for Role-Playing. As time goes on World Leaders may have other responsibilities and/or limited abilities to interact and reward the community within the game world.
 • A player that goes through the steps to get a quest put in to the world based upon their World Leader PC will be able to tell the story and in turn give players XP for learning that story via the PC Quest System that is in place. This happens after the WLDQ is completed successfully. This is the responsibility of the player and not the GM Team. This must be a well written and thought out submission or it will not be accepted.
 • World Leader positions are RP and in-game positions only, the players do not speak directly for, nor are they a member of, the Layonara Teams. They are World Leaders within the game world in a role-play sense of the word.
 • A unique item catered to each character's WLDQ will be created. This item could take quite some to create as it takes manpower hours and server updates so they could take up to six months.
 • Once a character becomes a World Leader the player may submit a modified and detailed biography on that character and it will be placed within the game world as well as within the history and lore of the game world. It should be between 1,800 - 2,500 words or about 10,000 - 12,500 characters in length. That is about three or four pages of text. It is the responsibility of the player to do this and if it is not done then the character will not go down in the history or lore. This is not the responsibility of the GM Team or the editors of information; it is the responsibility of the players. This must be a well written and thought out submission or it will not be accepted.
 • There is an XP barrier at level 20 that will require all non World Leaders to work through via quests and killing creatures. All World Leaders will be given enough XP to jump them over that barrier at the completion of their WLDQ - whatever level that may be completed at. That is a major benefit, along with the item reward for completing the WLDQ as well as the ability to support and aid the community once becoming a World Leader. The XP barrier can still be worked through by any player (or character) not desiring to become a World Leader. This means that everybody can level up to the max level allowed in Layonara, regardless of being a World Leader or not.
 • It is very important to understand that for everybody not going down the World Leader path and they continue to level past level XP barrier that you must continue to role-play, which is one of the staples of the community. It is perfectly fine for anybody to continue to level to the max level allowed and not become a World Leader, just keep in mind that one must be role-playing and respect the rules of the world as well as the community.

What it takes to be eligible to become a World Leader and be approved for a (WLDQ):
 • World Leader characters are a privilege and are not a requirement for any character. Players are not required to have a WLDQ ran for any character it is just another level of RP within the world.
 • The player must have been a member of Layonara for at least 12 months. At one time we allowed for this time to be adjusted but due to the difficulty in handling perceptions this is no longer the case. One must be a member of the community for at least 12 months.
 • The character must have existed for at least 12 months. At one time we allowed for this time to be adjusted but due to the difficultly in handling perceptions this is no longer the case. One must be an active character for 12 months.
 • The player must be a positive factor in the community as a whole - both in the public and in the game. The player does not have to be active on the forums or public communication locations but he or she must be a neutral or positive factor to the community. Examples of not being a positive factor are: Exploiting, Camping, Breaking of rules time and again, not role-playing or at least attempting to role-play, doing nothing but power-gaming, causing the GM Team extra work by having to discuss issues/concerns about that persons play or communication style, trolling, causing or being involved in flame wars - there are certainly more examples but these are a few. Be a positive aspect in the community if you wish to become a World Leader.
 • The character must have worldly accomplishments. A few things that would count are: forming organizations that last and make a difference to players or other organizations, running kingdoms or being at a high level of royalty that is significant, being actively involved on quests and making a difference on quests in ways other than combat, actively assisting or fund raising in a significant way for the under privileged nations, towns, cities, or NPC's, or receiving a significant in-game title or rank. We are not basing World Leader status on combat and action, everybody does this when they are a hero - that is not what we are after when it comes to being approved for a WLDQ and in order to become a World Leader.

Approval Process and Steps to Take for Approval of a WLDQ:
It is the responsibility of the player, not the GM Team, to have a well written WLDQ application that clearly spells out the accomplishments of a character through the characters life time up to that point. Players know their character better than the GM Team and as such that responsibility rests fully on the players shoulder.
 • You must update you approved bio and you must also point us to any and all character development threads as well as that updated bio in the WLDQ request.
 • Detail out any quests and accomplishments in the WLDQ request. List your level of involvement and/or how you helped with the end result. Be specific, the more specific you are the better your chances of approval. This is an important step that should not be glossed over.
 • The player must request the type of WLDQ they want run for the character, you know your character better than the GM's after all. But valid requests will always be difficult and will not be the average deliver xyz to a town or NPC. All WLDQ's have a significant chance of failure.
 • Within a week the request will be reviewed by the GM Team and will be approved or denied. If it takes longer, you will be informed within this week that it will take longer. GM's sometimes get really busy in RL and things do come up but we will try to respond within a week, in one way or another.
 • Once the request is approved you need to apply in a WLDQ GM's CDQ thread. Not all GM's may be available so that request must be accepted by a GM. You may not make this request until after your character has been approved for a WLDQ.
 • Once the GM that has accepted the request determines the quest to be run he or she will have clearly defined pass or failures options. All WLDQ's will be approved by Leanthar, Harlas Ravelkione and EdTheKet before they are even run - including the pass or fail options of the quest. This ensures that each WLDQ is sufficiently difficult and that each GM is is backed up by Leanthar, Harlas and Ed for passing or failing of a character.
 • The GM that runs a WLDQ may choose not to use your recommended quest and will at the very least change parts (perhaps major parts) of it so that you do not know what will happen on the quest. It will likely be the most challenging quest you've ever been on.
 • If a player is not able to make a detailed request then chances are the character is not ready for World Leader status and the request should wait until the character is ready.

It is important to understand that if you are denied for a World Leader or your fail a WLDQ you may apply again under the following restrictions:
 • At least two real-life (RL) months has passed since the WLDQ was failed or the request for World Leader was denied.
 • The character must have continued to be involved in quests, organizations, kingdoms, or something that makes them an intricate part of the world. Combat, kills, and action does not count towards World Leader, worldly accomplishments count.
 • The player has continued to play the character before requesting a WLDQ again. The character must have been active in the game world for at least 30 hours since the WLDQ denial or failure. This is not just standing around or going AFK (away from keyboard); this is being in-game and actively role-playing as well as being involved (and not just in combat) in the world. If a character was denied for a WLDQ then becoming involved and having worldly accomplishments is critically important before applying again.
 • The player must have remained a positive factor within the community (in the game, on the forums, IRC - or any Layonara sponsored site). The player does not have to be active in the forums or the various Layonara communication areas but they must be a positive element in-game and where ever it is that they are communicating.
 • There is no limit in World Leader requests or WLDQ attempts but it is important to understand that not all characters (I did not say player) are fit to become World Leaders. This is not a slight on the player. A character must have world accomplishments that do not revolve solely around combat and/or action. Killing epic sorts of creatures or powerful creatures does not allow one to attempt to become a World Leader - only worldly accomplishments and involvement qualify.

Keeping your World Leader Status:
 • World Leaders are players that support and protect the community as well as enhance and define RP in the world.
 • World Leaders must continue to be active in the world at all times. Once a character becomes a World Leader that means the player must continue to play in Layonara at least somewhat frequently or that status will be removed at the discretion of the GM Team. The World Leader character must be played at least five hours a month and not just played during GM ran quests. They should be a part of the community and not just on GM events.
 • The World Leader player must be in the game or within the community environment (IRC, Forums, game) at least ten hours a month.
 • If the World Leader player leaves the community for a period of more than 45 days their status of World Leader will be removed. The exception to this may be if the player lets the GM Team know he or she is leaving and for how long - but it would depend on the reason or motive for leaving.
 • If the World Leader player or character loses their status as World Leader no XP is removed and all levels are kept. Items that are used as World Leaders or as rewards for World Leader characters will be removed by the GM Team.
 • If a World Leader player has more than one World Leader character and that player loses his or her status as a World Leader then all characters also lose that status and everything that comes with losing that status.

Regaining World Leader Status After Inactivity:
 • If your World Leader status is revoked because you have been away from the world for an extended period of time, you can regain your World Leader status when you return by being an active role model in the community and acting like a World Leader.
 • To regain World Leader status, a player must formally submit a request to the GM Team to regain their status. This does not happen automatically, and it is the player's responsibility to take this initiative.
 • To be eligible to regain their status, the WL player must have been back in the community, active, and acting like a World Leader type role model for 3 months. "Active" in this case is defined as 30 hours or more of involvement in the world with the World Leader character over those 3 months, be that in roleplay, exploring, questing, or other forms of active play.
 • This method of regaining World Leader status does not apply if the status was lost through abuse of powers, breach of the trust placed in World Leader players, or any other reason than extended inactivity and/or absence.

Server Rules / A change to ECDQ Requirements - Epic Leveling
« on: February 26, 2005, 07:25:00 am »
With the implementation of the new World Quest GM System I am going to change the ECDQ’s that need to be run for characters.  From this point forward you only need to run ECDQ’s at these levels.
Level 20 to Level 21 – You may not level until you have successfully completed your ECDQ.  But when you level you get all XP unless it is more than half-way way to level 22, if it is more than half-way to level 22 you will be set at 7,410,000xp.  If you lose xp in between though it is going to remain lost (this is less likely to happen if we keep the newly implemented death system).  Sorry.
Level 29-30 - You may not level until you have successfully completed your ECDQ.  But when you level you get all XP gained.  If you lose xp in between though it is going to remain lost (this is less likely to happen if we keep the newly implemented death system).  Sorry.
Level 39- 40 - You may not level until you have successfully completed your ECDQ.  But when you level you get all XP gained.  If you lose xp in between though it is going to remain lost (this is less likely to happen if we keep the newly implemented death system).  Sorry.

Fixed Bugs / Crafting Light Effects Idea
« on: February 09, 2005, 02:41:00 pm »
Originally posted by Talan but I want to put it here so that I don't loose track of it.
I was thinking about this, and perhaps a solution to the problem of some characters wanting the light (non-sneaks and races w/o dark/low light vision) and some not wanting it would be to make "light polish" or "light dusts" craftable and added the same way a rod or resist is added.  They could be part of alchemy using recepies like this:   Blue Powder of Dim Light - 1 Phenelope dust, 1 colored sand, a leather pouch  Blue Powder of Light - 2 Phenelope dust, 2 colored sand, leather pouch  Blue Powder of Bright Light - 4 Phenelope dust, 4 colored sand, Leather pouch   Red Powder of Dim Light - 1 Fire Agate dust, 1 colored sand, a leather pouch  (same permutations for brighter dusts)   Green Powder of Dim Light - 1 Malachite Dust, 1 colored sand, a leather pouch   purple - amathyst dust  White - a crushed pearl instead of a gem dust   or perhaps instead of/in addition to colored sand throw in a glow worm for its inherent glowyness

Server Rules / Chaotic Neutral Characters
« on: January 12, 2005, 02:17:00 pm »
Well it seems I am going to have to restrict this alignment a little more.  We have a lot of players that just can not pull this off and some are not even willing to try and learn, sadly.  I have dreaded having to make this decision as it further restricts things in the world but I think it needs to be done if I am going to keep the RP levels up in the world and hopefully make alignments mean something.  CN is a difficult alignment to play and I want to make sure it is RP'd correctly, not just chosen for some reason such as wanting to do anything at any time or perhaps because one wants to go evil later on and this makes it easier.
With that stated.  The team is going to start watching players of this alignment and we will start adjusting them to a more fitting alignment and it is very possible a player will be asked to quit playing a character that they just can not RP (in extreme cases only though—and only after they have shown the majority of the team –not just one or two of us—that they can not play that alignment.)

From this point forward (unless I state differently) a character may not start out as CN unless the player has been here at Layonara for at least two months and has at least one character of tenth level or higher.  This gives the team and I a chance to watch said person RP and learn for ourselves if we think that person can RP CN properly.  It also gives the player a chance to join with the community and learn what the community and server is all about.

Server Rules / Clerics, Paladins, Druids, Champions, or Monks
« on: January 12, 2005, 01:41:00 pm »
Hello everybody,
I want to ask ALL players that are playing Clerics, Paladins, Druids, Champions, or Monks (with a deity) to read up on the descriptions of your deity, including dogma's, outfits, etc.
The team is now starting to watch these classes/PrC's closely.
We have a significant amount of players that do not know how to play these classes or are not following their deities dogma/rules etc.  This will be corrected as we watch and try to help people along.  But we need your help/cooperation when we speak to you about things, we are only trying to help--please don't argue with us, just listen and learn and try to adjust and RP better.  Those classes/PrC's are very important to the Patheon of the world and will be watched closely so that RP is enforced on them pretty strictly.
If you do not understand the dogma or need to get things clarified please ask somebody on the team, that is what we are here for after all.  EdTheKet is a GREAT source of info so he would be a good place to start.

Server Rules / For those fast leveling characters out there
« on: December 07, 2004, 08:48:00 pm »
I will remind you once again, and a final time--don't say you have not been warned.
We want RP here, we want your characters involved in quests and the plot.  If you are not interested in this then it is time to leave, find another world that is more fitting to your style of game play.  While it is not a bad play style it is not what I want on this world/server, that is not what we are about.
On top of that... You will never be approved to go Epic (ie. more than 20th level) with such shallow characters.  When you are all about powergaming and leveling you have little to no time to RP and define your character and I simply will not approve your character going epic. And yes, I have to approve all characters before they can go to Epic Levels.
I am not speaking to those that level fairly quickly but still also put in a good strong effort to RP and join quests and/or the plot quests here on the server.  As well as continue to respect the community of players.
I am speaking to those who are leveling so fast it is just plain silly, getting so rich (by exploits and/or pushing the boundries of reasonable harvesting) it is just disgusting and to those who rarely (if ever) join in a GM quest or plot.  All you want to do is level and power game, that style of game play is not encouraged here.  We have a great group of players and RP'ers, lets allow that to remain so and give them the respect they deserve.
Please don't send me a PM asking if I am speaking about you because I will not answer them.  Sit back and think it over and decide for yourself.  90%+ of the people in the community are just find and/or great... but it is the 5%-10% that is starting to harm the community and I am not going to allow it to happen.  It is time for this group of people to sit back and think about things and make a tough decision.

Server Rules / Character Stat Rules
« on: November 30, 2004, 02:49:00 pm »
Due to people getting carried away and min/maxing their stats and then not being able to RP them properly I have been forced to make this ruling.  It applies across the board.  Anybody that has a character prior to this post can continue to play their character but if it is not RP'd well we will make you create a new character and you will start over from level one with that new character.  Please, everybody, this is not a server for powergamers and min/maxers if that is your style it is time to leave the world.  We are an RP server that has a lot of action but I do not want this world to be the home for min/maxing powergamers.
From this point foward you can no longer have more than one stat below an 8, as well as you can only have two stats of an 8 or less.  As well, no stat can go below a 6 and that includes with subrace adjustments so keep that in mind--no exceptions.  This means that one stat can be an 8 and another stat can be a 6, or two stats can be an 8 on any single character.
I really hate making this rule as I wanted the players to police themselves but it is crystal clear that a few (and in this case the few ruined it for the many) do not know how to RP their character and continue to try and min/max and powergame.  We (the GM team and I) can not catch everybody so the best way to stop this from happening in the future is to just make this rule.

Layonara Server / Donate to keep this server alive

Hi everybody,
Well it has come down to where I need to ask everybody to donate to the world.  I can not continue to pay $250-$300 every month in order to keep these servers up and running.  I will pay some of it but no longer will I shoulder the full cost.  I am asking for us to get at least $200 a month in donations or I am going to have to close up.  I have been paying for this for 2 1/2 years now and can no longer continue to carry the full brunt of the cost.  So, please donate by clicking on the "Make a Donation" button on the top/mid right of the screen.  Without donations I will be forced to close up shop.
I'm sorry to ask for this donation but RL has impeded and forced my hand on this issue.

Server Rules / Polymorphed in town and/or buy/crafting
« on: November 15, 2004, 06:56:00 pm »
I would like to request that people do not go around polymorphed in town nor to buy and/or craft while polymorphed.  Buffed is fine.
I can hear it now.. But why?
There are a number of reasons...
#1)  Keep in mind that the towns are NOT just PC's or the small amount of NPC's that you see but rather many many other peasants.  Seeing trolls and such running around would totally freak them out and you being a hero (for many of the alignments at least) you would not want to do that on such a large scale.  For those that don't care (alignment) I ask that you respect this request as it needs to be the same rules across the board.
#2)  In a PnP game I and/or the GM's can control things at the table but online we can not simply because we are not there all of the time so again I ask that you respect the request.
I could go on but hopefully this is enough.

Server Rules / Trying to cheat death?
« on: November 10, 2004, 03:53:00 pm »
I want to let everybody on the server know that we do track players that die and we do track players that log in and out, it is all in a log file on every server.  Please do not try to cheat death by logging in and out to get around the system.  I do look at this log and it is very easy to tell when this exploit is attempted.  Sometimes it can happen by mistake but when it happens over and over then there is quite possibly a problem.  Trying to cheat death by exploiting the system (trying to crash the server and/or trying to get the system to not see you as dead) is a bannable offense.
Please, respect the team, the community and the servers.

Server Rules / Evil PC
« on: October 01, 2004, 07:47:00 am »

No character can start out evil, but through a long term duration of RP can be shifted towards LE or NE (NE will be rare) but never CE, CE is reserved for NPC’s only. Any character that is approved for evil will have worked and RP’d at it for a significant amount of time and done it in style (not killing, murdering, maiming—that is not what we want here!). It will not happen over night and it will not happen within a month, it will be a long term RP—pretty much so that I get an understanding of what evil is to that character. If for some reason a character is not approved please do not get upset, it is something that will have to be done from time to time because I (and the team) must look out for the better good of the community and the server.

Evil for Layonara, being a family oriented server, must be a “tolerable evil”, there is no murder or rape etc. this can not and will not be allowed. An evil PC in Layonara is really only one that displaces negative personality traits; they are not murderers and such. Being evil is not necessarily going out of your way to harm others. On Layonara, with the number of quests that are run all of the time, it will allow for evil PC’s to be RP’d so long as it is done in a logical and meaningful way, and without breaking rules—basically it must improve Layonara in some meaningful and RP fashion without breaking rules. Now, there may be a few (rare) exceptions to this if it is being watched over by at least one GM and that GM has run it by the GM team well in advance—but it will be very rare.

Any person that is approved as an evil character needs (and must) realize how their actions when role-playing evil affects the rest of the server population (even if they are not logged on) and be considerate of the community. If this does not happen that PC will be retired, you will only get one warning and then it will be retired.

This means that evil PRC’s will now be opened, however it will be very difficult to RP towards and it can not be submitted at character creation—it can only happen through game play. You must have approval to start working towards evil and after a large amount of online RP you must have CDQ to get to the final step of the evil alignment and it will not be a one session CDQ.

Playing evil may mean your character is not liked on the server (if the population knows about it) and you may be an outcast from society, but that is part of the price one pays for being evil.

A final note and reminder: Hostile actions towards PC’s must always be pre-approved by a GM and a GM must be in attendance while it is happening. It is hard to get approval but it has and does happen from time to time.

« on: September 20, 2004, 03:43:00 pm »
It’s finally here!!!!!  After months and months of long and hard work Ed finished the Layonara Campaign Handbook just a few minutes ago.  If you go here, http://www.layonaraonline.com/downloads.asp , and look under General Information you can download either the watermarked version or the black and white version.
Everybody that worked on this handbook deserves a HUGE round of applause.  And Ed has dedicated his life to it for about six months now, his attention to detail and dedication is superb.  Others have done a lot of work on it as well; you will find the list of credits in the handbook.
I especially want to thank Ed, Zizz, and Rhizome for their hard work on this project.  Great job to everybody!
I highly recommend you guys/gals go get this handbook, it is great and will help each of you in some way and probably in MANY ways.
