Hello Polak, Orth has taken over Layo and resurrected it! Jump in to see the changes. Many areas have been upgraded and look incredible. Level cap is now at 45 max (only server I know of in nwn does this and might go higher...). Rp rules from past are much relaxed and it's chill here. Folks gathering for adventure, fun, to challenge their characters and rp is atill top notch. So much more you have to discover youself. Jump in!

Hi all. I thought I'd try NWN EE and noticed my old favourite place Layo has made the migration. I was considering coming back and having a look around but wanted to check in first to see how things are. Are the same old rules in place from long ago or have the rules eased up on RP? I noticed some people running around over lvl 40 and thought that things must have eased up as it took me years to get to 20. My old char was Ramanon Vensk for those that may remember. Age, work and kids make it hard to invest much time for strict RP so I'm looking for a nice combination of action & RP in short bursts. Look forward to your feedback. Cheers, Polak.

Sorry to Raise Dead on this thread but I just popped in to see if Layo was still alive...and yes it is! Always amazes me how long this whole strange little phenomenon has endured. I recognize many screennames and I wish you all the best of luck in continuing this unique slice of alter-reality.  Someday I might try to get back into the world but right now I'm not gaming at all and instead trying my hand at novel/short story writing. Of course my chosen genre is fantasy! We can change your appearance to the Half Orc one easily, coupled that with the new customization system that allows you to tweak your head/other body parts that should be "close enough" to an orc. Hit me up on discord when you're in game and I'll see when I can make it on at the same time.

You don't drop off the Top 10 list any more when you don't gain experience in the craft, it's just if you've logged in in the last 90 days that you stay on the leaderboard. Even giving 1xp for a trivial craft has too many repercussions to the system. You could for example easily gather many lesser gems and advance in gemcrafting at a high level by just grinding away so no changes will be made in that regard.

First of all, sorry for the bit of a late reply, I don't usually work the counter, and as one of the guilds tailors and hunters, I'm often out in the field finding the very cats whose hides your bags are made from! Anyway, we do have those requested bags in stock at the store as we speak, well. we aren't speaking I guess, but as I write this note! And, if my math is correct, with a 10% discount for buying in bulk, the total comes to 12,368 trues. Now, I may be out of date with our current sales and standard discount, so if that doesn't seem correct you might want to ask another member, but I think that is right! (scribble notes on the edge show 2x lion bags at 4578 = 9156 and 2x crag at 2064 = 4128, minus 10% equals 12368.) anyway, feel free to pick them up and drop off the trues whenever. With lasting insperation it makes bard song 100 rounds. Lingering song adds anothr 5 for a total of 105 rounds. So yes that will be the duration of the blind, fear and slow.
