Heya,
well I run NWN here on my notebook with Vista Home Premium 32-bit installed. With the 1.69 it runs just fine from what I experienced. There are some issues with 1.68 though, but in general it runs.

Evening West, just something quick on 1) and 2) before I head to bed ^^ 1) Layonara is a PW for Neverwinter Nights. NWN plus its two Add-Ons are required to run Layo. Your game version must be 1.68. SO you either need NWN plusthe two expansions or simply buy the diamond edition. Both you can get pretty cheap these days. TO run layo though you need to download some specific hakpacks and the like (custom content). You can find that here: http://forums.layonara.com/local_links.php2)Yes you will have to submit a character first and get it approved in order to jump in game. It is probably best to get a bit knowledge about what is going on is the world, background and the like. There are some well written submissions in the approved character section. You may read through them and get an idea about what is required. The session for tuesday, august 12th will have to be postponed for one week I am afraid. Got a deadline for a project at work and leaves me with no time for any preparations for this session. I'll likely have it finished between 20:00 and 21:00 my time. Seeing that I need 2 hrs for setup it leaves no time for running it this time.

Word spreads around that a group of adventurers rescued 8 children though there are still more than 20 missing.
Still the citizens of Willows Weep and Dalanthar keep an eye out on travellers and strangers as the latest kidnapping did not happen all too long ago and it could happen every time again.
The investigating authorities still did not find any hints besides from what rumors already say. Any help is appreciated and any hints should be forwarded to the guards of said town who are investigation in this kidnappings.

Citizens report that a group of adventurers headed into Dalanthar and asked a lot of questions around town. They were seen together with a man wearing a red-silver-ish plate who was looking for a person called Platina.
After some time the group left Dalanthar and shortly after they left some more children, both boys and girls, vanished from sight.
Authorities are already investigating but they haven't found a single hint yet.
So far the rumors will still spread around and citizens are frightened of the night.
