To: City of Port Hempstead
Members of Illvacla eo El'Wilmlayla Guild wish to establish a Silverguard Aid and Relief Fund in the amount of 24,000 trues. A draft on the Hempstead bank is herein provided.
In honor of the dedicated service the guards provide to the citizens of Hempstead, moneys from this fund are to be used for the support of the families of disabled and deceased Silverguards, without regard to the cause of the disability or death.
Administration of the fund should done by a panel of Silverguard and overseen by the city, as they best know the needs of their own members.
I hope that other citizens of Hempstead will also wish to honor the service of the Silverguard and will contribute to this fund.

Osxmallard's and Eorendil's events tonight appear to be linked. Inserting a yes for Eorendil also puts a yes in Osxmallard's event.
Since Sala previously promised to help in the Eorendil event, she won't be able to help with the vampires. I'm sorry.

I'm on Voltrex! Totally confused and lost, but I'm here. We're supposed to somehow keep the elves from dividing their nation into little kingdoms. How? The other thing we want to do is to encourage them to rebuild the Wild Elven city of Ovdear--There's a rumor that its magic has T'oleflor origin. How I'll ever learn my way around even Sadinia, I don't know. I can't speak the language at all, so I'd better start learning fast. Maybe Rain will help me.

High elves: 14 total votes in Niasa, but divided; most live in Sadinia; House Aleanthylar (oldest) faction, led by Kerreth, has 5 votes, follows Aeridin; House Freanywyn (almost as old), led by Serodal Freanywyn, has 5 votes, follows Ilsare; House Mearnghym of Selrina (somewhat into the continent), led by Olarnar Mearnghym, has 4 votes, very conservative, consult and follow Speakers,
Mountain elves: 5 votes in Niasa; leader is Enelthean Allianthir; live in long mountain range in west; main city near Tower of Earth; follow Aeridin and Ilsare, but have many spellweavers who follow Lucinda; Enelthean is old wizard

Read the article "Virtual Worlds, Real Science" in the 10/27/07 Science News Magazine. A plague unleashed by an attacked god decimated the WoW world for nearly a week. Scientists were fascinated by the behaviors exhibited and are publishing real papers in respected journals on the phenomenon. Moreover, they're begging online worlds for access to data on social behavior. Gee, we could be guinea pigs!

Since the last tweak on drops, my characters don't seem to be making enough coin on trips to pay for bandages and healing potions. Admittedly, both have high heal skills and tend to use a lot of bandages and a fair amount of potions on all party members. Two trips to the bottom of Haven with Sala netted about 1500 coins per trip, divided among 3 people. One trip to Thunder Mountain with Ferrit, almost to the King, netted 800 coins to be divided among about 8 people. I don't want to complain, but at this rate, I soon won't be able to afford to adventure.

Description: Transition error--walking out of the Prantz Courthouse lets you out in the back of the building, with no way around to the front. It's like the inside is turned around backwards.
Location: Prantz Government District--Voices of Justice/Courthouse
Verified:
Reproduceable: I walked thru the transition several times with the same result. I'm not about to go back in there and try again, though.

Although the notes on how the children were changed have been lost, I still have a sample of the material used. On analyis, I found it to be a mix of myconoid spores, rare seeds and larger unidentified brown seeds that were impervious to my testing.
If it proves necessary, perhaps the sample could be taken to the skilled healers in Aeridin's temple at North Point for further analysis and production of a duplicate or antidote.

I don't know what happened to my old book, my possessions are so widely scattered--a chest at Explorers' Guild, my ox, my husband, my own over-loaded pack... No matter, perhaps it will turn up, or I can always write down what I remember.
Roriman Stronghold--he asked me to remember his name. He fell to the blade of a robber dwarf on the road to Hlint. I killed the dwarf and raised him, telling him it was by Lucinda's mercy he lived. He promised to aid me if ever I should need it.

The stickied topic "Resource/Enchantment Level/Level Required List" is totally unreadable. I can't even post in that section. Those lists are essential to being able to sell and use weapon enhancements. I wish I had printed them out, but I didn't. Could someone please fix the posts?

Hello, I'm Martha--Granny, bonsai artist, Layo addict.
I think I would be the oldest person playing on Layonara (at 63), except that my husband is even older than I am. I have two grandchildren whom I also introduced to Layo. They even play in game with me sometimes. The third one is still learning her alphabet, but give her a few years and she'll be here.
I have about a hundred bonsai trees in various stages of neglect from playing here too much. My game name, Serissa, is the name of a small tropical tree with tiny white flowers that is often used for bonsai. It stinks when you cut it and drops dead if you look at it cross-eyed. Seems appropriate!
I started reading science fiction in about sixth grade (when I discovered my dad's stash), and discovered fantasy somewhat later when I gulped down LOTR in one looong weekend. I've been hooked ever since.
I discovered role-playing games when my son was in junior high, becoming DM for him and his friends. That was when D&D was being touted as dangerous to our youth--a few idiots got hurt acting it out in real life. He grew up and went on to other things. (I don't know where I failed him.) I stayed hooked, playing nearly every computer RP game that came along. I moved to on-line worlds about five years ago and discovered Layo a couple of years ago. Haven't gone anywhere else since.
I grew up mostly in Texas, but have also lived in Tennessee, Missouri, Indiana and New Jersey. I've been living in West Virginia for nearly forty years, and it's the best. There are woods right outside my back door, but it's only a ten minute walk to the store if I'm really in a hurry. There are great places for hiking and camping all over the place, and the scenery is wonderful. I've been to most of our western states and Hawaii, and to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, England, and even Tahiti, but this is the place I love most (except for Layo, of course).
I love to cook. I even bake our bread and make my own soup stocks. The best part is that my husband usually cleans up after me. I love being retired--the only alarm clock I set is to get up in time for a Layo quest. Considering all the dumb things I've done, I'm proud to have made it to age 63, and love being the age I am.
I hope to meet you in game and have lots of fun!
