I was trying to turn in the triba quest token i received awhile back (yes its been a long while i know). I took it to where i was supposed to go but all i get is a nice hello from the halfling.

NOt sure if this is the right place, but here goes.
FOr some reason eschew materials is not working when i cast greater magic weapon. it works with all other spell of the level, just not that one.
I think it could be that when abi firesteed leveled i had her replace one spell for the aforementioned one.
ANyone have an idea how to getit working so i dont have to be all charcoally all the time? I know you loved it when she carried around tons of bat poo around. O.o

Yay! Just a quickie for those wondering, i finally pieced together a new pc and it seems to be working... so far.  Now for the arduous task of reinstalling windows and all those lovely drivers and stuff. :rolleyes: Figures, I get one thing going and then the heater in the apt conks out. I just cant win sometimes.  Hopefully the pink haired one who communes with squirrels and snacks on the grubs will be back after shortly after these messages.

Hi guys, Sorry I havent been around much. Of late..been fighting the ever evil pc destruction thinger. First it works..then it whirrs... My system recently had a umm...meltdown for lack of a better term. O.o A word of advice...burning plastic is never a good sign. So my pc is now DOA until i can get a new one. After 10 long years of replacing parts and much love (and hate) it finally kicked the bucket. I am now surviving on an old mac laptop (how you macheads use these things i will never understand..im sooo confused). The right click button seems to be missing... :\\ O.o Oh well, thank goodness for xmas (I have been a good little girl..mostly)! Hopefully the new year will see me back with a shiny new pc. Happy holidays everyone!

Hey guys, Most of you are pretty smart (I think) . I was wondering if anyone could recommend an easy to use video editing program. Im trying to make some mini clips about 1-2 minutes in length from a video made when one of my teachers from japan visited. I converted the files easy enough, now i need help chopping them up into little tiny bits. I converted them to *.wmv files thinking hey, moviemaker..its windows right..oi vey! Should i convert them to another file format, say *.avi or something to make working on them easier? Any help would be most awesome! thanks scifi

*A small band of dwarfs makes their way to the back corner of the inn... "Aye...I be tellin ye, dis be de place dey nearly burnt dun all dem years ago..see..looky ere, ye can still see a dent war dat mad dwarf bjornigar dun hit is ead! I swears ye can still smell is backsoide abit!" An old hoary looking dwarf comments to his fellows. "Ye is daft man! Der aint no dent...just a bit o warped wood. An de smell...well...OI cannae argu much de point on dat...Oi aint neer met de dwarf, but der be plenty of talk wat can substantiate dat! Why..oi once heard he had a bit of a foireball come out is backside wat made de east gate at prantz. A gift fer dat *much dwarfish cursing* duergar." The younger dwarf guffaws. The old dwarf just nods his head in assent, "Aye...a curse to a de kin dat Rael is." A small smile then creeps across his face, "Ye know, Spekin of Bjornigar...I bet hes still got dat bounty on 'is head. Ha! He dun caused much headache for dat dark one! Ha! Lets raise a point to dat one! May de 'lord' o prantz eer be downwind o de backsoide of bjornigar, and is frinds upwind!" He then downs the beer in one gulp and slams the mug on the table. All the other dwarfs cheer and raise their mugs to Bjornigar! /// The gathering is coming! If you dont know where the gate is, Grenna will be on hand at mariners hold to guide you.

As the small family of dwarfs makes its way around, news catches grennas ears that the dwarves have heard her call. Smiling broadly at this, she slaps her thigh and laughs, "Grand! Toime fer me ter start brewing me special ale."
She then tugs her brood along and stopping outside a small park outside of hempsteads gates she sets her kids loose to play. She then starts going thru her pack seeing what she needs to gather for the famous Rockbasher beer.
A short time later several high pitched screams and much crying start to break the calm of the day. Grenna just grins as she mutters about kids havin' fun until a small group of parents surround her blocking the sun.
"Hey lady! Whats the big idear your kids beating up on our kids! What kind of kids are you raising anyways? they are drooling and biting and trying to hurt our kids!" The small mob yells as they pull Varka and Galen forward while hugging and tending to the wounds of their own kids.
"Oi! Ye blockin me sun, an wat ye be blatherin on about? Sounds ter me loike de kids just be a roughhousin wit ech udder. What ye cryin about an wat makes ye tink me kids are behoind it!?" She says slightly menacingly as she look up from her recipes.
All of a sudden all the people start yammering together, gettng louder and louder until a mighty roar comes from the middle of the crowd and they all fall silent.
"NOW YE ALL SHUT YER GOBS AND ONE OF YE SPEKS. i CANNA UNNERSTAND A WERD OF WAT YE BE SAYIN!" Grenna now on her feet with her hands firmly on her hips.
The masses take a step back at the fierceness of her display, then gathering the courage of a crowd vs one lone dwarf a man steps forward. "Our kids were just playing when your kids started playing with them. Then your kids started beating on our kids! Thats what happened! You need to punish them, and then pay for our kids to go to the healer." He says resolutely.
Grenna just looks at her kids who are still foaming a bit at the mouth nad grinning happily as they poke each others bruises. "Oi teach me chillins better den ter just go off half cocked on sum stupid kids. Yer kids musta done sumthin ter set em off." She glares at the other kids who suddenly decide to clutch their parents legs and take a few steps back.
"They were just play fighting. Weren't you kids. No one was sposed to get hurt." Another parent says as she tends to her terrified youngster.
"Dis tru? What wer ye playin at? Ye knows betta den ter have a tumble wit out a gud reson." She says frowning to her own kids.
Galen speaks up in a high pitched voice obviously very nervous about ticking mom off, "Dey wanted us ter pplay battel wit em. Dey said dey was gonna play like when hempy was attacked by de darkies. Loike sum ol tale."
Varka chimes in "Uhhuhh. Dey says dey was gonna be de darkies and we could be de soldiers foightin em off. Cept..de all was darkies an we.."Elbowing Galen, "we was de only soldiers. An ye knows all bout dem darkies ma."
Her eyes narrow, then she looks from her kids to the the other kids and then to the parents. "So wat ye gripin bout? Yer kids dun gots wat dey deserved. De dun lost der foight. Sounds loike dey was tryuin ter ambush me kids ter boot!"
Her grin gets wider as she looks upon her kids quite proudly, "HA! I be teachin em roight foine I be tinkin! Yer kids wat outta be shamed of demselves, playin at bein darkies. Darkies be a scourge, dey be eating de chillens of dose wat dey be killin!", Her eyes start to glaze a bit, and her spit starts shooting out her mouth as she speaks. "Dey be usin der goiants slaves an such ter kill innocent families an suckin de marrow from der bones...an yer kids be wanting ter be dem! Serves em roight fer leanin a lesson bout wat a gud dwarf does ter dem darkies!"
Glaring at the children now hiding behind der parents, who are also taking afew steps back she spits, "Ye aint gonna be playin no darkies agin is ye?! Ye knows wat be happenin ter darkie na when he comes across a dwarf na! ROIGHT!?"
Then lookign at the parents gathered around, "Ye should be appy dat me rugrats be so appy ter be teachin em such a gud lesson. And dat all dey dun got was a few scrapes and bruises fer de lernin."
After a moment, she calms down and her generally nice demeanor returns as she looks over the crowd. "Now, ye kids be owin me kids a 'pology fer wat ye did. An ye shoul be sayin yer sorries ter yer folk ta fer wat ye did. Playin at bein darkies is a bad ting. Neer trust a darkie, leastways unless yer axe be stickin outta is chest er is ead be on a poike."
With that, she tells the kids to gather up their things and smiling happily she grabs her kids and heads off to the alehouse. Tellin em to tell her the whole story bout how dey dun wiped de floor with darkies.

*a young-ish looking dwarf is seen traveling the byways and paths running around mistone with 2 young dwarfs at her side. The dwarfs are playing ball with what looks to be a stuffed giants head, or ogre (depending on who you talk to). She stops by the various inns and markets along the road, inquiring about the kin what travel thru there and seeking news about a supposed gathering of the dwarfs. In particular she seems to be looking for word on one grohin silveraxe. When asked for what she thumps her chest proudly and holds up a mighty nasty looking war axe and decries..."It be toime we be celebrating de valor of Varka, lord of de bloody gate! De youngins dun seem ter know nae of him an grohin be closer ter im den any of us. Oi be wanting im ter see bout splitting some heads open an fillin em wit knowledge! Oi be grenna rockbasher and dis be IceThorn de axe he dun gave me hisself. Have em send werd ter me ifn ye sees em." She then smiles happily at the 2 young dwarfs who standing near her, and says "Dese 2 youngins be needin ter ere 'is story an udder tings of import fer der trainin'. He be de one what can teach em roight see!" "Dat an dey be needin some roight gud exercisin fer der axe arms, you would nae ave seen any darkies round abouts would ya?" Her eyes gleam ferally with a just a 'tiny' hint of madness as she speaks. She then heads out and on her way again with the two youngsters in tow who happily start playing kickball with a stuffed head. //The dwarfs need to gather! Lets have a party and chuck some oxen!

Okay...I just watched second skin the movie...its the one where they talk to people who are addicted to MMOs, fell in love with other players playing MMos, MMO gamers gathering for fun at meet and greets, etc. Mostly they are from WoW or Evercrack...but anyway, wasnt someone form Layo supposed to be interviewed for the movie or something? I seem to recall someone mentioning it alooong time ago. It was an interesting movie, albeit a bit slow. It actually reminded me of my old roomie and her boyfriend slacker that she met while playing EQ then invited to move in with us (i didnt know that until he showed up with his uhaul)...that didnt end so well. BUt i digress... I was actually hoping to see who it was from our little community that was supposed to be in it, but was sad when i didnt. Cheers Oh yeah...and when is Layo-con by the way? I vote next week at big L's house. Nothing like a surprise convention at an undisclosed location....well..its disclosed now. Im sure his wife wouldnt mind housing a few hundre...ahem..a few guests of his for the weekend!

I needed something new besides learning to cut people in half with a sword. Something more sociably acceptable, where a few friends can get together and do something constructive, perhaps even spiritually enlightening... ROLLER-DERBY!!! Gotta get ready for tryouts! I am so happy now..i think i could cry. Faith No More is back. I was such a FNM junkie back in the day. I just want to cry and dance and listen to funk rock again! And the first song at their first concert just reminds me why they were so awesome live. Crazy covers! Now to find the nestle white chocolate cover...

The Orc Bashers need a few boxes of feathers.
750 true a box or you can use them for credit in the shop for 1000 in credit per box.
We need:
2 boxes of raven feathers
2 boxes of stirge feathers
2 boxes of owl feathers
2 boxes of falcon feathers
This is to start. We will be needing more on an ongoing basis as we make room.
Deliveries can be made to the orc basher shop. Please inform us ahead of time so we can have your coins ready.
Oh, and please try not to disturb the birds nests while looking for their feathers. The baby birds get really upset, and so do the parents. Feathers found on the ground in decent shape are just as good.

*As a general note, endra isnt one who writes a journal or keeps one.
This is more to keep track of trip as she strives to become whatever it is she will become.
So far in her journey she has met many wild and crazy new friends. Some more honest than others, btu what do you expect in the world. Not everyone is a bright and fuzzy gnome who makes things that go boom.

I was just on lore and noticed abi was listed as having 9 tokens (SS) taken.
Shouldn't that be 8?
With her de-permed wouldnt her last strand (#10) be returned? Since the loss of strand number 10 means you've permed.
And then her plea request #2 for a strand to be restored would then set it at 8?
