Rumors out of Vehl speak of a kidnapping of a banker's infant daughter. They go on to speak of how Tyra Dragonheart and an unknown woman fought over the infant on the docks, injuring the baby. The Rofireinites recovered the baby as Tyra escaped them by diving into the harbor. The unknown woman also escaped, disappearing into the chaos of the docks. Other rumors speak of Tyra killing a little known thug and cutting off the hand of a likewise minor enforcer of a dock side gang in Vehl. All rumors go on to include that Tyra is wanted by the Church of Rofirein.

Rumors coming into Audira in the last couple days are that the Desert Giants are once again attacking caravans and adventurers. Reports are that no warning is given, no offer of a tax to pay. Others report more sightings of giant activities, lots more sightings. It appears the giants are very recently on the war path. Many are heard saying that the caravan tax may not of been such a bad thing after all. The market for caravan guards is through the roof, prices have temporarily tripled.

Rumors say that an explosion occured in the Hempstead crafthall recently. One of the Gnomish tinkering contraptions is completly destroyed beyond repair. A new one is surely on order. The fires were quickly contained and neutralized by city staff in the form of a Deliarite priest and a wizard. According to eye witness reports an unknown man and a female Toranite were likely responsible! Other witnesses report seeing the Toranite drag the man from the center of the explotion. No deaths were reported but some restoration will be required.

Rumors abound of organized giant patrols escorting some caravans into and out of Audira. They are demanding fair payment for services but not allowing the option of refusing. Rumors are that those that agree to the escort fees are protected and arrive unharmed. Those that wish to fight are met with organized and brutally effective attacks. Those that are attacked but not killed during the assualts are set free without their goods. The surivors report that they declined the giant's insistance of being their escorts and then came under attack by those same giants in the following day or two. All goods in those caravans were taken, but many reports state no more life is taken then required to defeat the guards and take the goods. Authorities in Audira are rumored to be in discusions on how to proceed.

I recently had questions brought to me about how many times can CNR be gathered from an area. It seems there is a lot of confusion currently on this topic and people think there is a "Rule of Three" passes. Here is Layonara's rules on camping and looping: LORE: Player RulesThe rule for harvesting CNR -is- a timer limit of Thirty Minutes. Depending on the difficulty of defeating any guards, the time spent choping, chiseling or mining and the inclusion of any rest break, once may be in effect our limit. Hopefully this helps those who asked or were mistaken about the rules. If anyone has any questions, as always feel free to ask them. *Razeriem visits the shrine to Vorax in Port Hempstead and reports that the Adventurer, Trenton ahh Bart something, died his final death while in battle against the trollocs of the Great Forest. (Raz will confirm the name as Trenton Bartholomew if someone mentions it correctly.) The battle was won, and with his efforts, Trenton's allies were able to finish the skirmish and not be driven from the battlefield. Trenton was overcome by superior numbers and was singled out by the Trolloc's attacks. He fell before Vorax's blessings or potions could be put to use, axe in hand. His body and possessions are in temporary rest in Krandor's hospital, where they await their final resting place as decreed by next of kin, church or friends.*

*Posted in Hempstead* I would like to organize a trip to the Great Spikes. From there I seek to travel through the Dwarven ruins and into the deep below. My destination is the old outpost past the Slaad Lake. I am in need of a cloak they use to sell and hopefully still do. I have a key to the portal room out and will be using it at the conclusion of the trip. All treasure found along the way will be distributed fairly. If no priests are able to accompany the trip, I will have tomes on hand. Anyone interested in such an undertaking please send me word so I may schedule a time that would accomidate the most. I should stress this was a very danger place last I visited it a couple years ago. And things may of course changed since then. Anyone that will bring disharmony to a group or endanger others is asked to not accompany. Violaters that endager the lives of others are subject to being eaten on the spot. Once again appearing as the topic of rumors the sculptor/playboy Razeriem has been named as part of a fight in the Leringard streets. Tales tell of a knight of Toran attacking the playboy with mailed fists. The attack happened almost exactly where the elf's death was recently reported. First hand accounts say the Toranite was enraged but could not manage to land fist to the fleet footed sculptor. The brawl apparently diffused after the Toranite managed to land a single punch on the elf. Oddly though the accounts say it was the Toranite that fell to his knees winded. The cad was seen laughing at the knight and then wandering off. The Toranite meanwhile was helped up by a what seems to be a friend and wandered off the other direction. Some speculations speak that the romeo must of had improper relations with the knight's wife, daughter or sister or some combination thereof. In all accounts the knight was very angery.

Sorry Milty, I went to buy a few tickets and every chest only has one number of each color in it. It appears that the first ticket of each color is noted and the rest count as additionals. So.....when the server reset you now have in a chest: 17 Red 42's, 5 White 7's and 6 Blue 13's for instance. Looks like you have a lot more work cut out now. =( Yell when its fixed and I'll swing by again. ~D / Aerimor
