Join me in Dalanthar and we will seek high adventure.  Depending on the numbers: we can romp through the Ore Hills and Sinister.  Blaze into the depths of the Rift. Or go back to my place for games of chess and a bath.  So come one, come many... and bring a cute friend.

Rumour Has It / Into the Great Forest

Aerimor leaves word around that he will be going into the Great Forest very soon.  If any wish to accompany him, meet in Hilm.  Word is that the plan is to work at the Giant defenses and numbers.  Resistance willing possibly a long strike into the forest.

//Last minute thing.  After the Lost Lore quest wraps up I'll head to Hilm.  Anyone wishing to join feel free to come.  Will head into the Great Forest, possible collect some Yew while we are at it.  Will depend on the resistance of the Giants.

Meet at 7-7:30 EST. Abotu 3-3.5 hours form this posting.

Rumor has it their has been an increase in lion poaching for their skins.

With the decline in lion population a new breakthrough has been made with Werewolf skins.  

Rumor has it werewolf skins are more durable than lion skins as they are far more resistant to damage.

Additional rumors abound that these new werewolf skin bags have an odd characteristic that prevents them from being opened on full moons.

General Discussion / New area

I would like to say I was very pleased with the group and area explored last night.  

I was not around for the conclusion and death of the party. It seems that Aerimor was the heart of the party and they could not go on without him.  =P

As such I can not comment on the hall in question or any events in the final battle.  With that said, up to there was seemingly well balanced for a party averaging in the low twenties or better.  The 'first' area was most definatly inspired by lord of the rings, but in hind sight I think that made it 'cooler' rather than taking away from it.  In fact the whole thing was very lord of the ringish.  The 'climbing' area was fine.  And the third area was very graphically pleasing.  I hate that I needed to go to top down view, but I beleive it was worth it for the beautifully fitting graphics of the area.  In other words it was a worth while trade off.  

All in all, thank you for the work and the new area.  Sounds like you have tweaks to perform in that last area, but now your aware of them.  If you desire to go again when retweaked, I would love to try my hand again. And see if I can see a little more of the place. And if it is done earlier in the day, maybe I will not have to desert you and leave you to folly in my absence. =P
