Rodlin and the Great Red
« on: August 01, 2005, 03:25:00 pm »
I recieved a PM from Yar Y'dnar today stating that something came up today and a large number of the players who would normally have made this event cannot make it.  Unless I hear otherwise in this thread between now and tonight, I'm going to delay the conclusion of this impromptu event until further notice.
Please respond here as quickly as possible with confirmation, questions or concerns about this report.  Thank you much.

I'm looking forward to it as well.
After a few PMs, it's become clear to me that a majority of the returning players for this impromptu finale will not be able to attend.  So, we'll coordinate on a future date.  This will most definately be continued.  Rodlin isn't getting out of the frying pan that easy *winks*.
  Talk to you soon.

Let's try to get this thing scheduled soon.  Saturday night at 11 pm pst was discussed.  But it appears that wont work for some of the group involved.  I can't do any time before 9 or 9:30 pm pst.  So, let me know what works for you.
  Thanks.

Well, Rodlin met the Great Red and turned himself over to him...at first.

Things have changed. Rodlin could not and did not perform the first two commands given to him so the Lord of Dragons had to up the stakes. He gave Rodlin three ultimatums… [to be continued]

The continuation was, as always, great. Thanks, Rhiz, I look forward to the ‘rest of the story’.

There were some moments that were unexpected, distracters you could say. The picture in my album says it all.

Rodlin has decided to travel to the Forest of Mist to the Temple of Folian S'pae and pray on the issues at hand. He will pray for enlightenment and the next step he should take to appease Fisterion and more importantly, his father Pyrtechon.

Rodlin is hoping the answer is to find a worthy offering that will satisfy them. This is the least evil of the ultimatums. Then, Rodlin will seek the offering and present it to Fisterion.

//I am hoping to continue the quest on Friday night 12 am PST. How does this work for everyone?

Rodlin and his companions, Riley, Esimon, Kavil, and Annun, went to the temple of the Longstrider to see what needs to be done. It appears that The Prince of Wolves is one of Pyrtechon’s targets. It is basically, the same thing that happened to Shindaleria. Carocsa was killed and Mist gained the upper hand. Shindaleria lost significant power and the sea elves could not stay in the seas.

Now Folian S’pae is at great risk. It was tasked for Rodlin to kill the healer at the temple of Folian. If that event took place, a follower of Folian killing the healer of the temple, the faith in the god would take a devastating hit and other followers would almost certainly disband and there would be very few, if any, new followers. The strength of the Longstrider would quickly fade.

The decision to unite the gods against Prytechon was made. We will be seeking the high priests and followers of allied gods to be communicators to their gods to join forces with Folian S’pae. Also, the high priests and followers for gods that are Pyrtechon’s enemies are sought as well.

The threat: Prytechon will just go after the next god if the Longstrider becomes too difficult to get. He will attempt to pick them off one by one. The gods must join forces to suppress the Raging One.

*A white dove searches and locates the Green Ranger. The dove perches on a branch close to Enzo. Attached to the dove’s leg is a small letter. The dove tells Enzo of the importance of the letter and allows Enzo to remove it. The dove patiently waits for the response to deliver back to the originator.*

Master Enzo Reynolt, devote follower of Folian S’pae,

I, Rodlin, have had some development in the scheme against the Prince of Wolves. With great aid from a dwarf named, Thordan Ironheart, we have gained much insight. We have spoken to the king and he has charged us with finding out what is going on between the Longstrider and the Raging One. Then provide some solutions to correct the situation. I am available to meet with you whenever your time permits. This same message was sent to the Great Druid, Rhizome.

From a devote follower of Folian S'pae,
Rodlin

May The Prince of Wolves watch over you.
