*Assault to Saddlebag Pawnshop *

*Haven usually so calm and peaceful life has been broken today, the morning greeted the town with a grim visage, as the body of a female human woman was found beheaded and in a pike in the middle of the road just in front of the Saddle bag pawnshop, the head was set on the floor just at the feet of where the body was impaled on a pike, the perpetrators of this awful crime remain in mystery as no guard seem to have seen this events, apparently the deed was hidden somehow, and the guard is investigation on how and why's this was posible.

The woman who died was a tavern girl from the locality that went by the name crystal, its too strange on the circumstances of her death since her body was wering a broken full plate armor made of cheap materials, the helmet near the pike, the woman in question had long red hair, and it seems to be hard to understand on the why's the perpetrators decided to do this modus operandi.

On the pawnshop wall painted with Blood there was a drawing that was depeciting like a map. with the words written over the main entrace face as well with Blood .

*There is also a trail of blood that is left towards the door that is neighbour to the store, the very 180 of the same street *

*The good people of Haven looks indignantly to the events and wonders why the strange things are happening and if this had to do with the strange dissaparition of people that has been happening in the past*

*Dot emerges from Haven Mines. Gnoll blood still fresh and dripping from her blade. She heads over towards the Saddlebag to unload materials she mined... seeing a crowd gathered in front of the shop she walks up slowly behind the mob*

*she nudges someone near the back of the mob, Dot cant yet see what everyone has gathered around*

Hey... what's goin' on?

*the man replies but doesnt turn to see who he is talking to... he is still trying to get a glimpse of the events himself*

Someone was killed, beheaded.... the croud says she is a local waitress but she's been dressed in some costume or something of armor. *he peers around the people in front of him*

*Dot scowls a bit and grumbles* Great... all these people blockin' the shop now.

*Dot moves around the crowd surrounding the body, she gets glimpses of the victim as she moves past... she notices the made up plate armor and helmet design and stops in her tracks.

What the....!? *she starts to muscle her way thru the croud (STR modafier 9 so she has little trouble moving people). She makes it trhu the mob to see officer Kit and other guards looking over the dead body.... she then sees all the blood and the writing on the side of the Saddlebag*

Son of a Lich! *she barks out loudly* What's all this about!

*the croud starts to notice the red hair of Dot and her plate armor... and the similarities to how the vicitm was dressed up*

*Dot stands with her arms folded as she waits to hear what Kit and the other guards have to say*

*Upon looking to Dot the Sgt in charge of the guard stops on his tracks all of sudden finally realizing the similarities *

That. .. that is what we are trying to see here?  Who the heck are you?

*he looks at Dot again noticing the similaties more deeply now *

*she glares at the Sgt. and replies in a emotionless tone*

I'm Dot & I work here *makes a head nod towards The Saddlebag*

*a unified gasp is heard in the surrounding crowd followed by several hushed whispers. Dot ignores them standing firm, her arms still folded*

When ya gonna clean this mess up? *she asks while glaring at the Sgt.* Aint no good for business ya know. *she thumbs towards the Saddlebag shop*

*The Sgt. looks at her once the statement has been done and frowns a bit, he gestures her to follow as the guards are already to get the crowd to disperse*

The question stands the same miss. .. As you can see this seems too casual don't you think? Any thoughts?  

And you know who lives on that place? *gesturing towards the other house *

**The man start to move towards the entrance of the pawnshop gesturing her to come over with the intent to search any more clues on the inside*

*There are a couple of guards already moving towards the other house *

*she follows giving no resistance at all*

Seems kinda dumb ta make a big public scene & all. Either they're idots... or they aint afraid a bein caught. Beats me who dun it.... I prolly got several people who wanna see me dead.

*Dot ponders some threats she's received in her years of doing bounty and blade work trying to pinpoint any "serious threats" she has some ideas in her head but gives no sign that she has any intent of sharing that info with the Sgt.*

Yeah that's the blue mans.... er.. Argos's place. *she looks sligtly concerned seeing the blood trail leading to their door*

*The guards are already checking the entrance to see any thing that may give them any hint on that , one of them is seen Knocking the door*

*The Sargent looks back at her as he reaches to the door of the store*

Yes, public display too obvious, It either betrays stupidity or boldness, and they seem to have the whole intent to leave a message here, Does this not ring a bell at all ? *a guard opens the door of the shop for them to enter*

And do you know this man?  your neighbor?  Any differences with him?  Some .. bad  .. business in the past?  

*The man keeps walking towards the shop as the door finally opens in front of them being pulled by a guard *

Nah.. Argos and I aint got no bad blood. I used ta run with him & Rory all the time. They're too busy poppin' out kids these days... I dont see em much.

*Rory hears the commotion of the crowd upstairs in her house, curious Rory takes a peek out from one of the upstairs windows. She frowns taking in the whole scene, not liking what she can see or the little bit she can hear Rory makes her way downstairs when the knock comes to her front door. She tells their housekeeper Ginger that she's going out the back and for her to answer the door. Once out the back, Rory makes it around to the back of Dots house, to the side of her house till she see what she hoped to find, Dot before she enters her store.*


Dot what in the hells is happening?

*Dot sees Rory and nods* Hey Rory... beats me. Come on inside with these fellas *she points to the guards that are about to enter the pawn shop ahead of her*

Yer place is ok? *she motions to Argo's house*

*As Rory goes outside the house the guards seem to be talking with someone at the door, and eventually after some discussion one of the guard are seen entering the house *

*The Sgt looks upon Rory as she approaches the entrance of the store, he speaks to her *


Milady if you may, you'll be free to speak with her once we are done here , everything its alright. or you have something to report?

Yeah my place is okay, why wouldn't it be okay?

*looking back to the entrance of her house she does a double take*

Blood? *pointing at her place and giving the guard a hard look* Why is there blood at my front door?! What is going on! I sure not going to stay outside, I'm going inside with Dot and you are going to tell her and I what you know and what is going on!

*As this happens the two guards have already entered the other house under the useless protest of Ginger*

*The Sargent looks upon Rory with new light once the exchange happens, then nods*  You live there then i take, then .. Please then come inside, and we are investigationg miss, somehow this has something to do with your friend here  *gestiuring to Dot*

*with that they enter the pawn shop *

*mumbles to herself entering Dot's house, yeah and possibly me to*

*The Sgt looks at her once they are inside the Saddlebag pawn shop *

Well milady, *To Rory* Any idea of why someone might have set your house full of blood at the moment?  does you have any common enemy?  Someone who fought you for the house or the neighborhood?

 This is too open to be a causality, and i pray that the disappearances that happened some months ago has not come to this level of boldness .

*stares at Dot, and gives a whistle*

Who knows Sargent, we never figured someone to be that silly to try and make either one of us that angry. Now that we know different, we know to many of them to come up with a name. But once we do.. *lets the heavy words settle in the wind*

*Dot starts taking inventory of the items in the shop.. mostly ignoring the guards unless they ask her a question directly*

*The Sargent returns the look at both of them * I would recommend you to not take this personal, remember that an innocent girl got killed here for this, indeed we need to make sure that the perpetrator pays for this ... using the proper channels of course.

*The store seems undisturbed on the inside, and aside the blood on the face, there aren't  any visible damages upon the house*

Now, lots of enemies you say?  Care to explain on that?

It's a tough world out there, cannot go about your business without making someone unhappy with you.
