A panic struck the Port town of Vehl in the early hours of the evening.

It began with civilians on the streets exhibiting symptoms of extreme fear and panic, many rushing in a frenzy through the city streets or cowering in corners until the feeling expired.
This however, is deemed to have been a diversion for a more sinister plot.

In both sections of the city, it appears the water was poisoned with a as  of yet unknown ailment, causing the majority of the citys populace to fall drastically ill through out the night.

Symptoms subsided by early morning and there were zero fatalities, though Port Officials and the Rofirienties stationed there are making enquiries with extensive vigour to find those responsible for the contamination.

Whilst many of the citizens of Vehl were overcome with the recent mystery illness that swept through their number, one resident alleviated the suffering with a generous gesture of goodwill and kindness. Arkolio Salvorre of the Vault Banking Institution was seen to be distributing loaves of bread to those who were too sick to work during this time of tribulation.[/SIZE]

**Argali Trueaxe visits the temple in Vehl. She asks if the Rofireinites have come across any indication that might suggest the involvement of the Green Dragon Cult.**

Once the panic had subsided and the populace had started to recover, a small woman may have been seen moving among them speaking nothing but good about Arkolio Salvorre and the help he has provided the people in their time of need.

"Ye know ye kin trust Arkolio tae help when ye needs it. Heart o' gold that wan, ah tell ye; they musta broke ra mold efter he wis born."

*As a dark man walks in the crowd listening he adds.*

Sounds like he was at the right place at the right moment, a bit too right. Probably is the one to have poisoned the water so he could then see as a savior. Now knowing him.. that would be just like him.

*he just keeps on walking until as they look back again for him, he is no longer seen*

*a creepy bard in a garish mask, feathered cap and tuxedo sings to the masses an uplifting song in praise of their famed benefactor*

Who helped the townsfolk from their plight?
Who fed the orphans bread that night?
Arkolio! Arkolio!

Who spreads his wealth to everyone,
treats every stranger as his son?
Arkolio! Arkolio!

Whose loans fund the heroes needing gear,
with interest rates so slim that none shall ever fear?
Arkolio!  Arkolio!

Who keeps foreclosers off the porch,
with nary a pitchfork or a torch?
Arkolio.... Arkoliooooooooo!!!!

*After a brief dance number he mingles with the folks gathered, urging them to petition their local governors to support this great man's business, take out loans as needed and ask their local leaders to sponsor him for mayor, seeing as he's already a noble in good standing.*
