A warning for the people of Haven

Sightings of "squid people" have occured in the Haven mines. While these sightings have have not yet been confirmed by the guards, all those that frequantly travel through Haven and into the Haven mines are advised to take extra care.

Also, a bounty has been placed on the heads of anyone whom brings the head of one of these squid creatures to Lord Rodor or Officer Kit will be rewarded with a bounty of no less than 300 coins of gold. An investigation is uinder-way involving this incident, and more news will be reported as it is discovered.

Karana Go down to mines of Haven with Dulan, Vellucia and Odion. Karana wants Iron Ore and others wants gold from Ogres. We was not far down when Karana see man dressed like mage, with head full of tentacles. Karana call squid man.

Squid man try to do something to Karana Head. Man not get in Karana head, but did with others. Karana fight squid man whilst others walking in own heads. Squid man knock Karana down, but others wake up. Dulan have to heal Karana.

Other squid man attack us and Karana gets mad, and the red mist descended. Karana not remember much more. Later Karana wake in Haven.

Lord of Haven want Karana and all to warn peoples of Hlint about squid men. Here Karana warn.

PS Karana now find from man in Hlint that Squid men called Mind Flayers

Me, and a large party went down to try and fight the Squids, but we were repelled. We manage to kill some though before we back out pursued by unusual angry ogres.

It seems the Squids took over the management of the Mines and are now in charge of the Ogres tribe living there.
