*Sailors of Hempstead, setting out in the pre-dawn to catch the outgoing tide, have been subjected to another scene of nightmare. A young girl's severed head was located on one of the more remote piers of the Argo Vlin'Dolan wharves. In a matter of minutes an outraged crowd had formed by the scene, the unfortunate sailor who had made the initial discovery shouting loudly of the contents of the parchment he discovered rolled and stuffed into the deceased girl's mouth.

"When humans and elves tread unbidden,
it is the children who shall suffer.
Faithful of the Hammer."

*City guardsmen arrived at the scene shortly thereafter and dispersed the crowd. The child's head and bloodied note were removed for investigation. Later that day and night the talk in the dockside inns remained that of outrage and fury.*

Once again, a grim-faced woman in a dark cloak shows up soon after word leaks out to try and claim the remains and speak with those who stumbled across the horrific scene.

(Minor Edit: She seems to have traveled with the man in the blue cloak and the woman in browns and greens.)

A hooded pair, a man in blue and a woman in browns and greens, make their way purposefully through Port Hempstead solemnly.  They let little distract or delay them from their destination, and upon reaching it, they request a meeting with the constable.

* Trouble points the monkey to a high bookshelf, wherein the white-faced Belinarian creature scarpers deftly up, pulling down the books onto a table.

Oma and Ell begin sifting through them, placing specific ones on the side of the table, and passing the discarded ones back to the monkey who replaces them back on the shelf's. *

" This could take forever." Oma grumbled.

Trouble looks up from the book he's reading with a smirk, turning the page.

" Very true. But if it works... it could last forever too."

*A sun-burnt dwarf by the forge of the smithy overhears some idle conversation about these events.  He listens for a moment, frowns, and then quickly and efficiently cleans, oils and stows all his smithing implements.  He touches the symbol of the hammer around his neck, and can be heard grumbling as he sets out the door.*

We'll see wat be 'appenin' 'ere....

*Chakar, on his way to the Scamp's kitchen to make some food for himself and others, takes ear of the conversations of the atrocity taken place. And starts to ask the local populaces about the occurrence*
