A youngish woman, plain and nondescript visits the docks and taverns around the docks over several days, never in the same place, never in the same garb. Each time the rumours the same.
In general conversation she laughs about the latest stories of a dark elf female killing those silly enough to come across her. Its said the dark elf is clad in dark garb with hints of purple, is softly-spoken and seduces victims with her tales of her reform and benevolence, only to then brutishly massacre them before vanishing with her vile magic. From afar, she is said to raid unsuspecting folk with her arrows imbued with the Al'noth.
The tale is told slightly differently each time but contains the same elements. When the conversation turns to the actions of this dark elf the woman who spun the rumour simply vanishes leaving the rumour to spread.
