Burn baby, Burn!

Prist in the Morholt kingdom has suffered from a range fire raging out of control.

The cause of the fire is unknown.  Some local land owners were forced to mobilize large numbers of slaves to fight the fires and dig fire breaks before the fires could burn into their precious vineyards.  A handful of vineyards still suffered losses but thankfully at the expense of only few score of slaves, lost in fighting the fire, the majority of the vineyards threatened were spared the worst of it.

The Taur'en Hills in the Taur'en Kingdom have suffered from a wildfire burning across an unpopulated area. Many acres were affected by the blaze and cause is being credited to a random lightning strike.

After a few days the conflagration burnt itself out.

Trelania is reporting that an uncontrolled fire burnt through parts of the Rolling Plains.  Many acres were destroyed as detection of the event was slow due to the area of incident.  The fire mostly consumed wild brush.  Little property damage was reported, only one farm suffered any notable damages in the fire.

Initial investigations believe an out of control or intentional spell may have been responsible.

A few short lived fires largely go unreported in the Saddleback Mountains, in North East Dregar.  No damage or life lost is recorded and nothing of known value is lost.  Not enough concern is generated to have an investigation conducted.  Only a few paranoid folks seem to take note.

Military scout Phan Dinh, of the Bilkan Kingdom based out of Traveler's Last Hope, filed a report of a confirmed dragon sighting with his commanders.

According to spreading rumor, the scout was on routine assignment in the mountain passes in the Spine Mountain Range between the Bilkan Kingdom and the Telish Throne.  The scout's report is said to say that almost directly West of the Traveler's Last Hope, along a West-East pass an hour south of the border between the two nations that Scout Dinh was resting in a recessed portion of the trail over-looking the pass and valley below.   As he began to repack he saw a large gold scaled dragon in the valley below.

It was reported as a long, gold-scaled, serpentine creatures with four powerful legs.  It had two large horns on it head, a mane upon its head, four 'cat-fish' like tendrils trailing from its nose and cheeks, large semi-transparent scales that went from the base of its head down its spine and ending in a flare of a tail.

The reports say that Scout Dinh watched as the dragon lit a field of herbs and flowers on fire in the valley. After it was all ablaze the dragon climbed out the far end of the pass and disappeared from sight.  Scout Dinh dared to investigate the route it departed without any immediate success and then returned to his base to file his report.  Seemingly the report is taken as is.

A small farm was raised to the ground Near Point Dart a few days ago. Most of the livestock in the corral were burned. Though a lone elf woman named Endra was on hand shortly after the fire started and was able to save a few of the animals.

Though the cause of the fire remains unknown the young silver haired elf indicated a few bootprints the size of a large human in the dirt and muck near the pens. Though the chaos of the night made seeing where they may have led to impossible.

The farmers when offering their thanks, asked how she happened to be in their neck of the woods, she replied she was hunting for something extraordinary', and on her way towards the mountains. After leaving the couple with some oxen she had in tow so their loss would not be so great she was seen heading west.

She also asked if any strange rumors, unexplained burnings or the like were to happen again to forward a message to her in Daspar where she could be reached.
