A recent exploration to caves near Folly of Frolic rescued a child but failed to reveal the location of some lost relics. Doubtless there is a currency worth then for any who find such information.

OOC:
Quest series that is ongoing and has some information located in various places on the server. They are for use with this game. They may hold a value to those involved should others find them. They do not lead anywhere on the server only on the quest itself.

They will remain in game while server remains up. They are located where you might expect to find information relating to the subject of the clues. The more you know about the subject of the quest the easier it might be to locate the clues.

Please do not reveal this info on the forum but rather in game thanks. Let me know you have found a clue - it may lead to another quest.

A Rofireinite paladin led a search party looking for stolen relics in the Frolic area. These were traced by his group - though they turned out not to be items relating to Frolic itself.

Another Paladin of Rofirein also may have found useful lore. This has still to be determined.

That second paladin, Mor of Rofirein had indeed found some lore at his temple that led an expedition into the Dark peaks where they recovered an old amulet from a fallen cleric many years ago. It's return to the temple is welcome. It was more welcome to the group trying to unravel a mystery at Frolic. There is talk they have made a significant find in their search to unlock an ancient door.

More clues may still be out there to be had.

spercifically 3 amulets still need found. Those clues may be of value to players pursuing them and therefore they have a currency to anyone :) .

(please keep the GM informed if you get involved in this game outwith quest times thanks)

Rumour has it a group of adventurers returned recently in triumph from troll caves near Folly of Frolic with one Droog Ursus, trapped there for some 3 years.

Here is there story.

Some three years ago hunting trolls a group stumbled across a mirror in the caves. One of their number Droog Ursus was drawn into a world behind the mirror. For it was a trap created long ago for another. The rest started to research the tale and it appeared that 3 clerics of the town hired a Sorceror Tcarre to create a trapped mirror for the Druid that led the town in what they considered some rather wild and old ways not compatable with what the town needed when the Dark Elves were not so far away at Hempstead.

Tcarre created the mirror in a magic cauldron taking their holy symbols into the spell. Unknwon to the others a fourth Corathite one was added by a resident Palemaster.

The party set about trying to learn this story and recover the amulets which had been removed from the finished article. Deeming these to be the keys to unlock the trap.

Eventually they did find them all clearing the area of many trolls, Giants, Goblins and a Palemaster hideout. They brought wealth and belief to both the Rofirein and Folian S'pae shrines at the town. The circle of wizards that helped oust the Pale Masters put the collective wealth of that expeditions profit to a local orphanage. The town had surely turned a corner and put it's past finally behind it.

The party had opted to return from the trap behind the mirror as soon as the Pie Master Droog was found, and as the magic holding it open slowly began to fade.

We can assume the Druid was long since dead and his magic and knowledge died with him and was destroyed when the mirror world was destroyed.

All in all many a  ripping yarn worthy of the telling in fine company.

//Thanks to all those who participated particularly those that sought out clues on the server between sessions and kept it all going.

Thanks Mix, it was a yarn worthy of pen and paper and was very involved and with most the information needing to be discovered by the heroes involved over the many weeks this ran, it nearly developed a life of it's own.

Great stuff
