In Hempstead Docks....
« on: October 26, 2008, 06:55:17 am »
An unusual sight greeted the Dock workers of Port Hempstead this morning.

A boat, unlike anything they had ever seen pulled into port.

It was the crudest, most ill designed ship they had ever seen, and as one Ship builder had mentioned, looked more like a large raft built out of little more than wood and copper wiring than any actual seafaring vessel.

More so curious of course were its passengers.

Five men. Four of which wore little more than animal skin loin cloths and animal furs over their backs, each with spear or bow.
The fifth was a taller man, clad in old, tattered robes with some form of ornamental neck piece stating him as their leader.

The four men followed the fifth into town, where they dissapeared into the crowd for several hours.

When they returned, it was transporting huge crates of various, unknown goods, which they loaded onto a large cargo ship, of who's services they seemed to have "purchased" during that time.

The cargo ship set sail, taking the five men with them.... but not before, to the dissapointment of the various onlookers, they dismantled and sank their curious -raft-... which seemed to have transported them from the Gods knows where.
