Zira put together a charity event for Harmony's Orphanage in Hempstead.  When all was said and done at the end of the event (through the efforts of many people and I thank all that showed up), we donated the following to the orphanage.

Gold - 37,400 Trues
5 Pecan Pies
2 Blueberry Pies
4 Rhubarb Pies
3 Blackberry Pies
7 Apple Pies
1 Blueberry Raspberry Pie
1 Venison and Mushroom Pie

As spring creeps around Mistone, a small elf can be seen plowing the lands and planting crops of wheat and corn.  She works tirelessly from dawn to dusk, occasionally accepting help from the stronger survivors of the tsunami. When asked her name, she replies, "Kaelyn, Lucky Clover of Prunilla," with a smile.

*Just a small note of happiness in these momentous troubles*

Joyful returned from her travels to find Hempstead in a terrible state, but her rather bedraggled Ox, Basil the avenger, happily munching away at his patch of grass near the bank.

*It may not sound like much, but to an Elven girl from the wilds an Ox is a heavy investment*

*Amanda can be seen spending several days at a time in the fields of Hempstead. Each time she brings with a bag filled with a bundle of food, drinks and of course books. She normally has at least one or two children with her, sometimes more.  May it be a little girl clinging to her leg or a rowdy little boy begging to hold her staff... she is often found sitting and reading with the children somewhere out of the chaos of the workers. Other times it may be just taking walks, taking them on gathering trips with her or creating illusion  to play with them.  Anything to keep them busy while the parents work on replacing everything they lost. *

A Gnomish architect specialising in buildings and sea defences was found and enticed to Hempstead, but was kidnapped enroute. A ransom of 20,000 trues had the hirers uncertain as how to proceed. A group of passing adventurers offered to look into the matter and take responsability for the investigation. They set off enmasse along the coast to meet the ransomers at a small island off shore. However no one ever turned up and the poor Gnome was presumed lost. It seems there large presence may have deterred the kidnappers - we may never know. Restoration work will need to proceed without his skills.

//unfortunately since the current deed to the Tower Academy is held by Another, I can only RP this but as Head Mistress it is my right to do so. Again my apologies to all for my very limited involvement as I have had a lot going on outside of the game, and while I still do. I am going to make a very strong effort to be more involved. Thank you Jaelle for all you have done so far and your patience with me.

Notices go up in secure places around various cities and Port Hempstead in sheltered areas where notices may stay dry from the increasingly worsening storms that once the storms are over and the Tower Academy has been deemed safe again, that the doors will be opened on a permanent basis to the people, signed by the familar hand of Elohanna.

Essa continues to move among the refugees distributing pies, breads, baked fish, wine and boxes upon boxes of angelica.  Flirting with all as she passes, she is careful not to touch any.  As her supplies run dry, she hurries away to scrub herself clean, muttering under her breath "I've been in swamps that smelled better."

She quickly clears her throat as she glances at those she passes "Um...Will the suffering never end."
