Port Hampshire News Brief

*you read the Port Hampshire newspaper and something catches your attention that you overheard as you passed through the city*
  Yesterday at high noon, midmarket square, local authorities reported having to aprehend a significant amount of disgruntled merchants who were protesting at a local guild office.
  The incident began when local taxing enforced by guild fees and regulations was being discussed in the weekly merchant square meeting. A tired and irritated merchant populace decided to take their problems to what they claim is the cause and quickly the protesting force became what could have turned into a riot had the authorities not reacted. A number of merchants were aprehended and many were injured in the process.
  Memories of the riots in the past of our city come to surface with these movements and put much fear in the local authorities and governing agents. Guild officials gather today to discuss the possible outcomes of these feelings of discontent amongst the people of the Port.
