Trelanian rumors...

Rumblings out of Trelania speak of some sort of unrest in it's southern regions. Despite the lack of detail, caution is advised to travelers entering the kingdom byway of it's southern boarders.

Several days later, news travels out of Trelania that the council has mobilized aid, dispatched for Fort Hurix and then somewhere beyond that. Aid comes in form of troops, priests and chirurgeons as well as whatever supplies they are able to send on such short notice.

Some days after, fresh news funnels out of Haven City that merchantmen were attacked by 'madmen' on the road between Lorax and Haven. 'Raving lunatics' they were called by the merchant's group as they filed their report with the Haven City officials. Some of their members were killed, a quarter of their merchandise lost and some of their guardsmen shaken from the experience of having to defend from and kill the attacking party.

Two days after the Haven news a Missive goes out from Queen Mouring, both posted and announced by the criers around Trelania:

"Good People of Trelania.

Dire word has reached the ears of the Queen of a disease that drives it's victims mad. It is somehow spread through the well water in our towns. Do not drink the waters from the wells. Seek out other sources. Those communities with out immediate sources will have aid soon from the Crown.

Our best efforts will go into aiding those seeking the cure to this malady, and our hearts go out to those already affected."

In an effort for good will, the Queen extends the alert to the regents of the neighboring kingdoms.

**Argali becomes quite incensed, and makes her way first to Haven to get more details first hand. She then heads north to Lorax, noting the proximity of the Black Dog Moors and keeping an eye out for anything untoward on her way.**

*Storold travels to the areas affected and asks around in the towns for any useful information regarding strangers in town, what people believe are the reason for what happened etc.*
