The auctioneer announces the starting bid at 80,000 gold.

Gloin was unable to make the auction today in person, I would just like you to know he has offered my 88,000 gold pieces for the Uncut Emerald.

I will give it to him for this price if there are no other bids.

Czukay sits down and continues to cradle his emerald like a young child....talking to it breifly in a soft voice.
