*A blank book left on a table*

I wish I was the kind of dark elf that kept better notes…

I hope that someone who met in Llast recently for this horror of events, could follow up with proper introductions.

I most strongly remember having conversations with ogres in the grey peak mountains.  The first one we talked to really set the tone when he said, “You no have magic’s?  Then me smash you.”

Hence, when I cast true sight and met an invisible ogre mage, I tried a different oproach.  I said, “We are powerful adventurers, I could cut you down where you stand.

The ogre mage responded, “Well, you did cut through the others well enough…
After I dispelled his invisibility, we found out about what the ogres refer to as the eye.  It doesn’t look like an eye, it watches you.  He then led us to a location that was covered in dead bodies.  A thick fog rolled into the valley, and soon most of us were dead.  I had a death ward on, I strong suspect that this saved me from a very powerful undead.  The rest of the group was not so lucky, that time….

I think we will need another cleric here, if possible.  Someone else who can cast third circle spells, as this creature drains muscles of energy.  I can make death wards for 4 other hunters of this foul retched perversion of life.

*Another note is left in the book, with the title "Looking for Death Warders" scrawled on the cover.*

Aye, I was there as well; we need a few more powerful clerics. This thing seems to be a greater ghoul or lich of some sort... And it seems terribly fond of the Hlint Crypts. This menace must be destroyed.

*No name is left, but the text is familiar enough to those who know it as Pyyran's.*

*careful blue manuscript reads*

Do not assume we know all... The Weeping Stone has it's riddle we must solve before we can know or understand.

*A furthur note is placed*

Those who remained at the Greypeaks amidst the fog, are unaware as to what was discovered within the goblin caves and Crypts.
Please seek out Sallaron Tempest, and provide as much information as to what was gathered from the Caves and Crypts.
Via Post or seek me out

Thanks

    Cymeran, noble cleric of Az'atta,

I have been involved in Church situations for the past week
and have only recently returned to Hlint and Mistone.
Please know that my sword and shield are at your call ...
I have several miserable memories of the Greypeaks
and would be quite pleased to bring Justice to the evil incarnate
that obviously spawns within that deadly mist.

*Murieann walks past the notice board when the notes catch her eye, giggling softly she thinks to herself*
Oh look, another Paladin...What fun! I wonder if he'll leave the back of the party unguarded when he charges ahead in the name of good like the other two..
*scaning the rest of the notes, she mutters*
Aye, I believe the gravestone to be the key also

Could those that went to the crypt please explain the events there.
I heard a town crier say, 19 people where dead and it sounded pretty much like it was this "eye" that did it.
