So, I was told the other day that Druid's aren't supposed to wear helmets because they are metal.
This I read before creation, and understood... but then I got this "Helmet of Armour I" as a quest item. Clearly a metal helm. So to abide by the Druidic code, I just didn't wear it (it looks silly anyways). Then I was shown that all items can be customized...
Which is wicked, by the way.
So I thought, hey, I'll just make this helm look not metal... then at least I can use the magical abilities of a helm that seems to be permanently glued to my character.
I'm curious to know why this is a problem (especially because it's a quest item that I can't seem to get rid of). I like my deer helm, they look neat... I still wana wear one.
I mean, maybe tailors can make them... but I haven't really got that deep into the game yet to know what kind of craftables are out there. Although I haven't even seen a basic leather helm at the vendors, so... I just assumed that there aren't any.
