Most of the temples are usually not represented in game, due the mechanical limitations of the NWN Server if that is what you are asking , for a mechanical representation .
Of course your character may try to reach to mistite temples and if want to go further into discovering about Mist, you can always ask for a CDQ with the steps your char will try to do that.
You may wish to do a pilgrimage, or somethijng along the lines ( according to Mist lore of course ) you may also want to do a CDQ for it. You just need to work out with a gm about your intrest and what your goals are.
If not, small shrines usually have no priest tending the shrine but an ocassional traveling priest that may be around at the time, but that is enterly a happenstance, Major temples is where the faith is concentrated and where you most likely will find priests, again not all the temples and Shrines are represented mechanically in game.
Of course you can apply for a CDQ after you got approved for the priest class if you want to strenghten his knowledge and faith on Mist, but of course before taking cleric levels he has to be approved to do it, which depending on his level and the development done should or not requiere a CDQ itself.
