Confusion

The confusion spell doesnt work as long as its supposed to and it doesnt take up a walnut

If I'm not mistakin, these are spell-like abilities. Meaning no component is required, and the time they last for does not increase as your level increases.

I'm not sure, like I said this is merely speculation as I know that's how it works with the Drow Spell-Like abilities of Darkness and Faerie Fire. Mind defining a "split-second" for us? Try timing it.

alright , i accidentally confused a player (not used to Area of effect spells anymore) he got confused then it wore off almost instantly
this spell-like ability lasts just way too short in my opinion

I cast ,he gets confused, and as soon as that little animation that plays over a characters head when he gets confused pops up the spell wears off.

Huh, sounds like it's lasting a round then (6 seconds). Pretty sure orth can fix the duration to be 5 round or something reasonable. *waits for orth to say* "Fixed in the next update"

but just to make it clear it doesnt last 6 seconds.....its wierd
