Are your thread/forum display options not what you want?

If you go in to your user profile you can change the viewing options in your profile. It then takes effect across the forums. It is not a server side option, it is by user option in each users account.

Go to: My Account - Edit Options - (then modify these three choices to your desire)--they are near the bottom:

Thread Display Mode - choose linear, oldest first to be like the old forums
Number of Posts to Show Per Page - 25 for the old forums settings (your choice though)
Default Thread Age Cut Off - Show all thread to be like the old forums (your choice though)

As an FYI, mine are 'choose linear first', 30 posts per page, and show all threads. But that is just me, other will have other choices.

I also use the standard editor, not the enhanced editor. The enhanced editor seems to have a few problems with vbulletin. We will fix them up I am sure but I would suggest you use the standard editor.

More of a question...the last forum had a mass subscribe option.  It allowed the subcriber to get all the new threads and posts automagically delivered to email with the body of the post.  I am not seeing that here.  Was my absolute favorite tool of the last forum as I was always notified when I new message was posted.

I see where I can get replies to threads I post in, but not new ones.  Am I missing it, or is this feature not available in this incarnation?

This may be a stupid question: But It's worth asking. I put all of those options in and when I click on certain threads they come out in alphabetical order rather than the order of what was posted in last. is there any permanent fix to this rather than clicking the "Last posted" option on the top of the forums?

Well, not sure what happened; I didn't do anything; but now my posts are displaying correctly!

Thanks team, it was minor but vexing...glad it's fixed!

@Lalliden, I think there is an option like that on the forums. We might need to enable it server side and then you would have that option in your user profile. I think right now we have that option disabled on the server side. I will try to take a look at this today to see if we can enable that. Then on your side of things I think you would be able to do what you need/want.

Really not sure if this a bug or I am missing something obvious. When using the new posts page the times of the latest post for a some topics seem update themselves to a newer (more recent) time even though there have been no more posts. I confess to being rather baffled

@Nibor21, Yeah I just saw that as well. I think I have seen it a few times. I haven't gotten a hold of what it is or why I am getting the idea that something is not quite right with the 'new posts' listing....but yes, I just saw it as well. We will try to figure out what it is.
